  1. That was a painful AB. Two pitches served up on a platter and he just watches them
  2. Peripherals are still ugly for Greene for sure. Lack of Ks doesn't bother me that much compared to his walk rate. He really needs to get that under control.
  3. Greene and Zuech with good outings too. Jason Leblebijian continues to impress. Can hit, take a walk, and play all over the infield. Hope we get to see him some time this season.
  4. Lucas Giolito suxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  5. Pentecost's walk rate is at 3.8% right, probably attributed to the fact that he's hitting everything. Strikeout rate isn't outrageously high (24.8%). If he could just learn to take walks, that'd be nice.
  6. AA has not been kind to Urena.
  7. Jesus christ. Just throw strikes
  8. Have a night Vlad Jr. Nice to see a good outing for Jon Harris as well
  9. I would hope both Tulo and Donaldson are actually 100% and not just coming back because they think they're good to play. Don't want another Sanchez situation.
  10. The balls on Rizzo to crowd up the plate against someone like Chapman
  11. Cubs on the verge of getting swept by the Yankees. If they lose, they'll be 3rd in the NL Central behind the Reds and the Cardinals. Yankees are scary right now. Judge and their starters will regress, but they've already established a nice little lead in the division.
  12. Bichette is playing MLB the Show on easy difficulty apparently Nice to see some catching depth develop finally as well. McGuire even if he doesn't come around hitting wise is a solid backup and Jansen and Pentecost seem to be killing it.
  13. Brett Gardner is good: https://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/mp4/2017/05/05/1355325983/1494019571575/asset_1800K.mp4
  14. Coming off a litany of injuries. Not giving up on him, but he was a fringe top-100 and lottery ticket anyways.
  15. Plus two first round draft picks in a strong college class as well.
  16. Would be shocked to see Quintana traded anywhere this early. Todd Frazier I can see. 3B is a black hole for the Red Sox. Sandoval sucks and is injured all the time, and Rutledge can't hit his way out of a paper bag. And who knows how long Holt is out for with his concussion.
  17. Lotta pitching prospects got lit up
  18. I'd give it another month. Remember Martin and Tulo were hitting .150 last March/April as well and heated up after that. Lets hope it's just an extended slow start.
  19. Conforto just had a 2-homer game
  20. If Liriano keeps doing well and we trade him at the deadline, it'll be fun to see how we basically converted Drew Hutchison to Liriano + legit prospects.
  21. Tim Beckham suxxxxxxxx
  22. Let's hope May is better for Rowdy Dwight Smith Jr still doing well Pentecost is raking Bichette is ridiculous
  23. If Pillar keeps hitting like this midway through the season, what can we get for him at the deadline?
  24. All rebuild talk aside, I am quite excited to see what this team will look like in the future. We have some good players in the minors. Hopefully a 1-2 blossom into superstars and hopefully some can be above average. And then hopefully have a high enough budget to where we can fill in the rest of the gaps using free agency with proven players. Cubs really did do it textbook. Nice young core in Bryant, Rizzo, Schwarber, Russell, Baez. And then use their budget to sign Lester, Zobrist, Heyward to build around them.
  25. Mets lost 9 of their last 10. Reyes is batting .114/.205/.348 while Granderson .149/.205/.254. Both are ranked the worst player in the majors by fWAR with -0.6 WAR.
