  1. There's no reason to get too far ahead of ourselves. Gimenez it's still a couple of weeks away. Lots can change between now and then.
  2. Nice to see everybody getting their numbers a boost tonight. Except Vlad, of course. At least he hit that one hard.
  3. His bat actually showed a lot of life when he came back before. Also our best base stealer. I think he needs to play every day.
  4. Varsho with the groundout. Clearly the worst hitter in baseball.
  5. I don't know if Nance is our new Green. He's pitched well.
  6. He does this s*** all the time, there's no bigger picture with him if one thing goes correct one time he f***ing blows his load like a f***ing incel having his hand held for the first time.
  7. Literally he should bat fourth because that one at bat proves the entire universe. That one at bat maybe the theory of everything that we've been searching for.
  8. In all honesty there shouldn't be a team in Colorado. It's a farcical environment to play in. This place just destroys pitchers. Makes absolute mince meat out of them.
  9. Been saying this whole time we gotta bat varsho in an RBI spot...
  10. Lukes gets WAY under pitches more than anyone I can remember seeing a long time.
  11. Seems Colorado is not an ideal place for Laurer to pitch. I guess the cutter will play, but his changeup is probably his worst pitch and that's a pitch that would play in Colorado. Otherwise he's looking at spin to try and get guys out.
  12. Sure but that doesn't change the fact that Varsho is not a good hitter and coming back from injury. I don't think it's that big of a deal but he responded as if the notion that Fido hitting ahead of Varsho is laughable and it really isn't.
  13. It's official, Myles Straw is more clutch than Vladdy. Then again so is almost everyone else apparently😄
  14. Well how do you judge good hitting? Varsho is a below average hitter for his career. We don't know what Fido is yet, but Varsho doesn't set a very high bar to clear and at least Fido is hot and in the swing of the season unlike Varsho coming back from injury.
  15. If he can slug the way he did earlier in the year, I'm fine with him, I was never someone who was in love with the Varsho deal, I always hated the deal, I still think we didn't maximize the perceived value of Moreno. They prioritized years of control, just like they did with Varland. If he can slug, I can deal with it but if he doesn't slug then it's rough watching him at the plate.
  16. Well in fairness they went after two generational talents in the last 2 years, they just didn't want to come here. It takes two to tango.
  17. Well at the end of the day, the two things that people weren't thrilled about for each of these guys was lack of command with one and lack of whiff with the other. We now have two pitchers, one left handed and one right handed, that strike out a lot of guys but we'd be nervous to bring either one in with runners on. It's still a flawed bullpen. The hope is that enough of them are on their game that we can find a way through.
