    I wonder if his value to the FO has gone up given what our offense has looked like without him. But he's got to move to second base, it's non-negotiable.

    You forgot to mention Detroit, they might end up battling for the wild card instead of Cleveland. How much fun would it be if that final series of the season between Detroit and Boston had both those teams fighting for their playoff lives? Crochet is currently not scheduled to pitch in that series, if he does it would be on short rest. Skubal would be lined up for game 162 if they needed him. Wild stuff if it comes to that.

    While I admire your utter disdain and complete disregard of the Boston Red Sox, they are very much not done and can help screw up our situation real fast.

    Well he hit a home run as a righty a couple of days ago then took 20 years to circle the bases for some reason.

    I can see the Royals really bouncing back strong next year with a full season with Cole Ragans especially.

    I'm not talking about the numbers, I'm talking about the stuff, the command, the contact and the lack of swing and miss.

    Not really an encouraging start by Yesavage honestly. Yeah he got squeezed a little bit, but not a lot of swing and miss and some really good contact. A bit wild at times. This doesn't make the postseason decision any easier for Schneider and company.

    Well there's definitely reason to be concerned. A two game lead with seven to play is still a two game lead with seven to play. Very blow-able. But the odds are still pretty heavily in the Blue Jays favour because of that tiebreaker that they clinch the East. But, it's sports so anything can happen in the last 7 days.

    Actually I find the panic level to be quite tame. And fans are not turning on each other, the same ones that always annoy one another continue to annoy one another. Perfectly normal Saturday.

    Well I will say this, from a purely neutral perspective, the races are real good in the AL right now. Every division is in doubt, the wild card is in doubt, just when we thought we knew all the answers, baseball changed all the questions.

    You used a statistic that includes a heavy dose of DEFENSE to suggest that we have the best OFFENSE in baseball because you knew you couldn't stick just to the offensive ones. But you were so desperate as you often are to be right that you proved yourself AGAIN to be wrong. 🤡 Good day indeed lol

    That's some cherry picking. This is not the best offense in baseball, it's top 5, not the best.

    They can't, they're going to need somebody else eventually. If they clinch they have options from the minors, they may just call up Manoah, otherwise it's a bullpen game in one of the most important games of the season.

    Well he's played over 40 postseason games in Cleveland, so it's not like he lost anything not going to the Blue Jays. He may yet play more postseason games than the Blue Jays this year lol

    I reckon we still need one or two more wins from Baltimore. I have no faith that the White Sox will win a game at Yankees stadium.

    Yeah this was kind of predictable, the first shoe to drop. Likely means he doesn't pitch in the postseason either. Lauer has a leg up. The third spot in the rotation is Yesavage's to lose at this point.

    Guardians only two back in the loss column. It's starting to get real for the Tigers here. Guardians also on Boston's tail. If they can hang on long enough, Boston and Detroit play each other in the final series of the season. Cleveland can make that series very very very interesting.

    A lot of reliance on Bieber tomorrow. We need the ace to show us he's an ace.

    Magic number down to five lol. Thank you Orioles, today was one of the games you felt they had the pitching advantage so if they didn't win today the panic would have been palpable. Offense has been utter dog s*** the last little while for us. Pitching stunk today, the back end starters haven't had great starts, but the offense looks absolutely lifeless right now.
