  1. Last name is Brownridge.....Is that still awesome? Seems like it gets too long eh?
  2. I'm between 200-210 lbs. I get jeans from The Bay or Bootlegger. Silver, Mavi or Buffalo all fit me well. Fitted waist and thigh...loose leg...no skinny jeans at all. I actually just got a pair of Buffalo jeans that are a stretchy material....wicked jeans
  3. Brad Pitt...obviously
  4. Speaking of this, my wife and I are about to have our 3rd child....still working on names. He'll be our 3rd boy (other two are Maddux and Perry). On the list is: - Emery - Miles - Archer - Beckett Last name starts with a B so we're leary on Beckett (double I tossed around the idea of Gehrig as Id love a baseball reference. Thoughts? Which do you like and/or any other suggestions? Thanks guys
  5. Um....they need a new GM and then basically a complete overhaul from top to bottom.
  6. I'd encourage you to simply eliminate hockey and discussions about hockey from your life. It's so much better that way
  7. Really man? This is par for the course of essentially every ML team. KC picked up Medlen last year when he was non-tendered...
  8. Christ - I wish I could do this. I guess it doesn't really apply to me because: 1. I'm introverted and rarely ever converse with random strangers (because I hate people in general); and 2. Everybody I know or work with knows I'm a baseball guy. It's so hard not to be a massive prick to everyone. I'm typically like "didn't we all agree when the Jays got Price that he was a rental and there was almost no chance we'd re-sign him? Why are you surprised and/or angry at this?" Then they typically start telling me how Happ is trash and the Jays are going to suck and I just leave the room. Sometimes I'll bark back that Happ was the 28th best starting pitcher in the majors last year and then walk away shaking my head. That doesn't seem to go over well, but whatever.....people can't hate on facts.
  9. I'd rather he just show up to came with some semblance of control over his pitches.
  10. Is the bat really that much better? Alvarez has averaged a 110 wRC+ over the past 4 years. Smoak was at 107 last year and 113 in 2013 (yes I'm ignoring 2014). I'm not sure it's worth the massive drop in defense.
  11. I'll say it. Deadpool is right
  12. A more reliable arm than Dickey? How idiotic...do you even believe anything you say?
  13. Can we just delete this thread. It's dumn
  14. That's actually a good strategy. You can't have multimillion dollar studs at every position man. (thinks to self - why am I wasting my time with this fool)
  15. his moustache is en fuego...
  16. yes - like not a capable catcher. It's like suggesting we sign Mike Napoli as our backup catcher...
  17. Jeff Blair is the worst.
  18. based on what? your wet dreams?
  19. Aoki to Seattle on a 1 year deal...this should help us gage if Revere has any value.
  20. Well we can't plan on the injuries - but good point about the day after night games...how often in a season do those happen? He caught 114 last year and 107 in 2014...I can't see him catching many more moving forward. 110 starts would leave 18 night/day games that he could sit out (or DH in).
  21. Man - Boston's OF has a chance to be special IF JBJ's "breakout" is real and Castillo can make the necessary adjustments.
  22. You realise Happ was the 28th most valuable starting pitcher in the majors last year eh?
  23. I think you missed how good Verlander was last year. His 2.8 WAR over 20 starts prorates to 4.6 WAR over a full season, which would have ranked him 14th in the majors, ahead of Harvey, Hamels & Ceuto
  24. You think Martin should be catching more than 128 games a year (excluding starts as a DH)? I've always though Martin's framing skills better off catching our 4 traditional starters too... The only scenario I see where it makes sense to have Martin catching Dickey is if our backup catcher is a lefty who can actually hit well (Thole does not qualify) - that way you can schedule Martin's off days around L/R matchups. It would suck to see Thole starting vs. a crappy lefty when you know Martin would likely have a good day at the plate.
