    Why would I be in shambles? The Braves are one of my favorite NL teams and I'm a huge supporter of AA.

    How much will Adames cost and how much cheaper would Kim be? Adames had a MONSTER season at the perfect time. Same age as Kim. He's a better fit, given his power profile. I could see Kim getting like 4-5 years at $20M AAV. I think Adames has played himself into a 6 year deal at $22M-$25M AAV.

    O's are shutting down Grayson for the year. That hurts. Yordan is done for the rest of the regular season. Wonder if they can get him healthy enough for the playoffs.

    What are you talking about? You made an empty claim and a couple of people called you out on it and asked for receipts. Instead of providing them, you're just going to ignore it and shrug it off like you just wanted to trigger people, while sticking to your claim that what you claimed was fact? That's just sad. Is Trump your idol?

    Because of unwritten rules. I think it's insane to complain about a bunt in the 7th inning of a perfect game, down 2-0. I could see the argument if it was the 9th.

    100% That franchise deserves better.

    Vlad, Bo, Wagner, Horwitz would be one of the worst defensive infields in the MLB and in Blue Jays history. Just sayin' (not that I really want Clement to be our starting 3rd baseman).

    Vlad and/or Barger. I don't think the team should give up on Barger yet.

    I'd agree with this. I can definitely see it from the players perspective though and feeling cheated by the Pirates. Man - I wish someone awesome would buy that team and change their fortunes.

    I don't think cutting him months ago (which would have been completely reasonable) makes it any better. The only thing that makes it worse is some false sense of security that he was going to get that $200K. I hope he didn't already order the pool!

    I don't agree with Billionaires to start with, and typically support the players in terms of gaining performance bonuses. But in his particular case, despite loving Rowdy the person, I'm with metafour.

    Based on actual results this year - he's been a very solid pitcher for the Blue Jays. However, by all indications, he's been very lucky to achieve those results this year. All the advanced metrics suggest it's not sustainable, which is why no one was overly surprised by his recent struggles. Am I concerned with what he'll be moving forward? Obviously I am. The good news is pitchers are volatile from year to year and his Stuff + is still good. With a few tweaks this offseason, there's a possibility he'll be more effective next year. There's also a possibility his struggles will continue and he won't be as lucky next year. Time will tell.

    I just saw Green's stats this year are a 3.34 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. I know every advanced statistic suggests he's been bad this year, but those old skoo numbers are way better than I thought they'd be.

    I mean - they aren't very good? It's Witt, Sal and a good rotation in KC. That's it.

    I just find it hard to imagine that he's now entering the declining stage of his career. It will be sad (for baseball) if he pulls a George Springer or Stanton and is some 2 WAR JAG in a couple of years.

    Fingers crossed. It would be pretty awesome to have the Holliday brothers playing against each other in the AL East one day. And of course we all know younger brothers are typically better.

    I hear what you're saying....but elite speed moves the bar. A stupid baserunning decision by an average runner isn't stupid for an elite runner. I also think you want those guys living on the verge of of being reckless.

    I find it so hard to believe that Judge is already 32. What a season he's had.
