    We all know he doens't know advanced statistics etc. That doesn't change the voice for just listening to play-by-play. I don't need someone telling me rbis or wrc+ watching a game lol

    Man this is a tough one, because up until recently Alomar was always my favourite. As a young teen I'd raise my hands in our little home run derbies with my buddies just like he did on that postseason homerun. I just accepted the spit instance as heat of the moment but the sexual allegations that got him fired I guess I have to look elsewhere now. I love Doc but it's probably Bautista for me now.

    It's hard to deny that Buck has that great old man voice for calling games imo. There's something about that that just resonates with me. He's our Vin Scully if you will and I'm good with that.

    Front office has an extremely good relationship with Cleveland, there's a good chance they've had discussion if he'd be open to an extension. The team also has money coming off the books. You got an ace calibre pitcher in your control and if he looks like himself and helps us win a pennant you do what you gotta do to lock him up since you're going to look for that exact player after the offseason anyway. If they can give 500m to Vlad....

    How quickly this has turned into one of the most enjoyable seasons in years.

    In hindsight but if they didn't rush Snider from A ball to MLB when he was just 20, I think he would have developed into a beast but they royally screwed with his head.

    Barger kinda reminds me of Travis Snider, albeit successful.

    He had a blister issue before the all star break but I think it's cleared up (He's on my fantasty team). I'm just hoping we have some very long at bats, he only goes 5 innings and gives up a couple, then we have 6th inning breakout.

    I mean the contract sucks but I'd still keep your expectations in check. Vlad is sitting at 134 wRC+ and his 2024's first half was also 134 wRC+ (FYI his career avg is 136). I think that tear he went on last year's 2nd half (211 wRC+) which made him look godlike was more of an anomaly at this point, I wouldn't bet the house on a repeat performance.

    That was Bautistaesque by Schneider. Can't wait for the Jomboy breakdown on that entire sequence.

    Even though that was a very winnable game, at least we're in a great position right now. We still got a light schedule into the ASB and hopefully those sitting are recharged.
