Sanchez can't get lefties out and can't strike anyone out. He shouldn't be starting. Osuna, yes. Gibby will remove Hendriks after he gives up an infield single. Can't risk it.

I wish the Man in White wasn't on vacation during the ALDS. Jays might have actually hit Gallardo and Hamels if he was there. Thankfully his Vegas vaca is over and he was able to make it for Game 3.

The Jays have Young and then Volquez away from KC. They can win both games. They NEED both games. Getting the series back to KC is obviously vital but getting it back there with a lead is more important.

Osuna started warming up after an infield single to start the inning. Gibbons did not trust Hendriks to hold a 7 run lead. It had nothing to do with the game being close or securing a win. The game was never in doubt regardless of how many comebacks the Royals have made this post season (a grand total of 2).

KC is definitely a good team. Their hitters are good too regardless of Yost's lineup. Getting this win was huge, but they need to get the next 2 now. Need some margin for error if they take it back to KC.

Mark Shapiro would be a hero in Toronto if he demanded the firing of Gibbons after the season. COme on Mark. Bring your own guys in. I know you want to.

Please. One was an infield single, the other was a grounder that Smoak should have gotten, and the other was a hard hit single. At the end of the day, they were all on the ground and singles. That's s***** luck, not bad pitching. Gibby's been handling Hendriks like that all year. It's ridiculous.

That's true, but he's still using it properly. Gibbons has a very good pen that he can't figure out how to use properly.

Yost used Herrera and Davis in a blowout. What a loser. Oh wait, he used his long reliever and a mop up lefty. It was the other idiot who used his best relievers in a blowout. This thread is awesome.

Yost >Gibbons. Both are batting one of their worst hitters lead-off, but at least one knows how to use a bullpen.

The last two managers to rep the AL in the WOrld Series were Farrell and Yost. Maybe Gibbons being an idiot is actually a good thing?

Why does he love Sanchez so much? It's almost disturbing how much he ignores better relievers to give him the ball every damn game.

Poor start but he gutted it out. Now Sanchez and Osuna to close it because they are the only ones in the pen apparently.

Sanchez is like the 5th best reliever on the team (behind Osuna, Cecil, Lowe, Hendriks) and yet he's used like Herrera or Betances. What a joke.

Take Stroman out after 5. He's not pitching well at all. But that means Gibbons would have to bring in Hendriks, which can't happen. Sanchez will be pitch 2 and then Osuna 2, most likely.

Just got home to see Bautista misplay a ball in the outfield (daily routine). He'll probably blame Goins for that one.
