AA didn't start making saber type of moves until this past off-season. Prior to that he was looking at home runs, speed, and ERA. So yes, this organization does value analytics to some degree but it was a recent change. If they valued it earlier, maybe they don't make the ridiculous Marlins/Dickey trades.

Shapiro >>>> Beeston. I'd much rather have Shapiro communicating with Rogers than Beeston. I don't know how I feel about AA coming back, but I guess it's hard to let him go after the season the Jays are having.

Yeah seriously, just win the division. Doesn't really matter what the win total is, although it does look like the Jays will have to win 90+ to get the division. Those 7 games with the Yankees will be huge.

That's the issue with Revere batting 9th. You don't want him getting caught stealing with the heart of the order coming up, so even if he gets on for Tulo-FYSMC-Bautista-Edwin, they would be hesitant to send him. With Pillar and Goins batting after him, it's more logical to give him the green light.

They'll need a fifth starter on Saturday, so the weekend (Fri-Sun) will either be Dickey/Hutchison/Buehrle, or Hutchison/Dickey/Buehrle, depending on how they want to line it up.
