7-5 against the Guardians, Nats, Rockies, and A's is pretty bad, injuries or not. Luckily the Rangers have been awful so the Jays actually gained ground over that stretch but that should have been at least a win or two better for the Jays. Hopefully they can sweep the Royals, but I believe one of the games is against Ragans, and the Jays have a hard enough time hitting s*** pitching much less good pitching, so can't assume anything there. The Jays also need to win 3/4 against the Rangers to hold the tiebreaker in case they finish with the same record.
It's a toss up at this point. The Rangers are free falling but all they have to do is right the ship for a week and be right back in the drivers seat.
