Last year was an utter tank job. Adding Betts, Maeda, and Darvish as well as fielding a competent bullpen anchored by Ramos, Capps, Pomeranz and Smith will surely make me more competitive, not necessarily in the standings but at least in the weekly matchups.

I see now that both Eduardo Escobar and Eddie Rosario were added through waivers this morning. Have to admit that I didn't anticipate anyone burning their waiver priority on drafted players. Was the original order just reverse standings? Should be pretty easy to fix in that case.

The entire player pool was on waivers due to the season just starting. Commishes had been adding some of the players manually but they're all free agents now anyways.

Yeah me too. Bautista is the face of the franchise and he does seems more consistent though I think the value they produce on the field ultimately averages out. -

Even with the emergence of EE and the arrivals of Donaldson, Martin and Tulo, this is still Bautista's team and it will be for as long as he's around. -
Some talent was moved in that deal, notably Happ and Musgrove.
