  1. He's also getting extremely lucky with just a .230 BABIP. The projections are really starting to taper off for him too. 4 ERA pitcher who is a 5 and dive is how the projections see him right now.
  2. Myles Straw has been 0.8 WAR better than Sasaki so far lmao
  3. Just spanked the evil Mariners Season is back on boys
  4. Been doing some thinking lately and I really believe the offense is about to turn things around you guys. Bo: bad luck so far Vlad: bad luck so far Taters: notorious slow starter and his rolling xwOBA is picking up. Springer: he's back Varsho: His big spring is carrying over into the regular season. Adding him also kicks Gimenez down which lengthens the lineup. Kirk: bad luck so far Barger: His statcast page is starting to get really interesting. His defense looks a lot better too. Lukes: He's got a .380 xwOBA right now. He doesn't hit the ball hard but he has ideal launch angle for his skillset and doesn't whiff which helps his BA. He also takes a lot of walks so combine that with a good BA and he should be getting on base a lot for a bottom of the order guy. Gimenez: Miscast as a cleanup hitter (lmao) but he's been unlucky and should be solid for bottom of the order Against lefties we will be running turds like Clement, Straw and Clase out there but they do have good defense and baserunning at least. And in theory our bigger bats should make up the difference against lefties anyway. Time will tell but I've really been crunching numbers over here and I think we are about to break out. Trust me on this one!
  5. So I've been doing some thinking today and I'm actually starting to feel pretty good about this team again you guys
  6. Gausman vs. Castillo Francis vs. Logan Evans Urethra vs. Bryce Miller This is going to be a tough series.
  7. the season isn't over yet boys good to be back in the Win column
  8. The team looked incredible from the 3rd inning on. Outscored them 8 to 1.
  9. It was amazing. They jump on his first pitch fastball and hit 3 singles on 4 pitches to start the game. The pitching coach comes out and then he just starts spamming sliders in the dirt and they K 3 times in a row.
  10. It was an extraordinary display of slap hitting Rumor is that Stefanic is joining the team in Seattle to keep the singles flowing
  11. These ABs are horrible. He's just throwing sliders down and the team is swinging every time.
  12. 3 singles in a row to start off but can the team get the often elusive 4th single to cash any of these runners?
  13. The Rockies are about to drop to 6-31 on the season after losing both games of today's double header by a combined score of 21-3 (and counting).
  14. This isn't really Schneider's fault as he just does whatever Ross says but let's fire him anyway. For one, it can't hurt. Two, sometimes it lights a fire under a team. But beyond that, he's extremely vanilla. He's the NPC of managers. He's got a boring personality and provides almost zero entertainment. The whole damn team is like this. We need more craziness in the dugout. Bring back Gibby or hire Bautista or call up Amir Garrett and start a beanball war with the Mariners this weekend. Stop being so corporate.
  15. The quotes from Devers in that link are gold lol
  16. We need Gibby to come back and start fist fighting all the losers on this team
  17. We start climbing the standings tonight
  18. That's assuming we are even in spitting distance of a wild card spot!
