    I would probably prefer to move him over Yeasavage. Nimmala has got a looooong way to go and there are a bunch of outcomes from him where we don't regret trading him. Keller is signed through 2028 and Bednar through 2026.

    I'd go with Robinson Piñata twisted his ankle after fleeing Chicago fun violence last night to get someone on the IL. Definitely better than slipping while getting into the cold tub.

    I’d probably rather have Springer at DH and Santander in a corner at this point. The metrics favor Santander and he's not as bad as I'd thought. He's just slow and stiff but otherwise seems to know what he's doing out there. And Springer seems to like DHing. He’s said it lets him do things between innings which is probably watch video and take hacks in the clubhouse. Plus, Santander has always had a big DH penalty.

    One thing no one considers is that 16 consecutive games affects the Starting Pitchers as well. These guys often get 5 days of rest throughout the season but that hasn't been the case lately. So hopefully we can get at least 6+ out of Bassitt and 7 or 8 would be gold. We've got Lauer vs. Houser tomorrow so it would be best to save our top arms to unload on them tomorrow. Thankfully, the pitching staff finally gets a breather Thursday and then the ASB shortly after that.

    They probably just made up that tub story so they could get a fresh arm up after he threw 34 pitches in his return. He's not exactly an iron man and resting him through the ASB for the pennant chase is a smart move.

    Yeah this happened last year where his real stats significantly trailed his xStats. We all thought that it was perhaps because he doesn't pull the ball enough but Tom Tango visited the board and basically said to ignore that. Sure enough, Vlad's real stats started to catch up and he went on that huge hot steak. Hopefully that happens again soon. He's only ever had 1 season in his 6+ year career where his real stats significantly trailed his xStats so there's no reason to think it won't.

    Since we are on the topic of Nathan Lukes I'd like to remind everyone of this post I made back in April. Lukes has been slashing .287/.386./404 in 162 plate appearances since. It took a lot of courage at the time but it feels good to be completely validated. I doubt anyone will want to apologize but if so DM me and I will let you know where you can send the Swiss Chalet gift card. Go Jays!

    It’s all good Berrios is starting to get some mileage on his arm and it was a valiant attempt to get 3 innings out of Manny Piñata against a s*** team before optioning him after the game we've got an off day Thursday and can use some lower leverage guys to finish it off manny piñata can still get optioned and all in all the pen usage has been lighter the past couple of games
