  1. Yeah this isn't sounding good. Schneider not putting a timetable on when Bo might resume baseball activities Gimenez moving over to SS IKF quote: Is Bo cooked?
  2. Good morning Jays Centre ☀️ How is everyone feeling today?
  3. The Red Sox need to do the right thing and beat the Yankees tonight Crochet on the hill so there are no excuses
  4. Orioles’ most effective pitcher is a position player throwing 35 mph What a joke franchise lmao
  5. The World Series will be easy to make
  6. What the hell is Tyler O'Neill's problem? Misses the entire year but he makes damn well sure that he plays all 13 games against the Jays
  7. Gimenez at SS is interesting They've put IKF at 3B, Clement at SS and Gimenez at 2B previously
  8. Name-wise it's pretty terrible but gotta get the righties in there against Rogers
  9. Probably a mix of what everyone is saying. 2 inning bridge guy at first and if he looks electric out there they will keep moving him up the pecking order.
  10. Anyone remember the legend of K-Rod? 23 years ago the Angels called up the 20 year old reliever in mid September. He threw 5 scoreless innings before the postseason started. He then threw 18.2 innings in the playoffs (4th most on the team despite being a reliever) while piling up 28 strikeouts and allowing just 10 hits and 4 ER. 3 out of their 4 starting pitchers had FIPs over 5.50 that postseason but he and Lackey teamed up to give them a chance to win it all and they did. Get Yeasavage up here and let's see what he's got!
  11. Stack the lineup with righties be ready for his changeup!
  12. Gausman has been such a good FA signing. 5 years, 110 mil and so far we've gotten '22: 5.5 WAR '23: 5.3 '24: 3.0 '25: should finish with about 3.5ish '26: final year
  13. Yankees season rides on Shitler tonight Hopefully his confidence is shot after we gas-canned him last week
  14. Great game by Gaus and a good series overall The AL East is in our sights
  15. It's nice to get this dominating win in the books early The Yanks are going to crumble under the pressure tonight in what is now a must-win game for them
  16. Gausman has been on fire in the 2nd half He might even be SP1 for the playoffs at this point Either way he and Bieber could make for a pretty formidable duo atop our playoff rotation
  17. I also wonder if the Jays are working under some interesting theories regarding their pinch hitters. Pinch hitting is hard and it seems like most players take a big hit in production when they do it. It might make sense to use batters who can simply put the ball in play and try to get some BABIP luck. Maybe that's why the Jays pinch hit with IKF, Straw, France, etc. since they don't strike out much. SSS alert (always will be when it comes to pinch hitting), but: IKF has a 134 wRC+ in 30 pinch hit plate appearances Schneider has a 27 wRC+ in 32 PAs
  18. Yeah I can see the argument to dump IKF but he's not the worst bench player in the world. He's a pretty decent one actually as he has some good bench skills (defense, baserunning) and projects for about 1.5 WAR per 150 games.
  19. In that scenario, I would probably add him to the pile of bench pieces like IKF, France, Straw, etc. and play him when the situation calls for it. I suppose if everyone is healthy someone will be left off though. Loperfido is an easy demotion but we also will have Bo coming back. If Taters looks totally clueless at the plate then maybe he is the guy who is left off.
  20. If during a low pressure game she puts up one of the worst ump performances in history imagine how she'll do when the stakes are high! End this travesty!
  21. Yes, thank heavens we dodged that nightmare scenario. Instead, the only issue is that her umpiring is actively swinging games for teams by as much as 2.5 runs. That's far more preferable.
