It's fine to use the 6 game sample to show what we've seen so far and it does track, we haven't played well.
But where you lose me is when you take these 6 games and extrapolate it out to say that this is what the 2024 team will be. The SSS is so extremely tiny that it isn't predictive at all.
One of the games was a no hitter, and since the small sample size is so tiny, it will skew the numbers big time.
Also, we've played 6 games, all on the road against playoff contenders. If you took a six game sample where we play the White Sox and Rockies instead you could say that the 2024 team will be 100 game winners.
