    This is lunacy my friend lol It's fine to use the 6 game sample to show what we've seen so far and it does track, we haven't played well. But where you lose me is when you take these 6 games and extrapolate it out to say that this is what the 2024 team will be. The SSS is so extremely tiny that it isn't predictive at all. One of the games was a no hitter, and since the small sample size is so tiny, it will skew the numbers big time. Also, we've played 6 games, all on the road against playoff contenders. If you took a six game sample where we play the White Sox and Rockies instead you could say that the 2024 team will be 100 game winners. Crazy talk

    I was commenting on the misplay and their defense as well. Totally fair. My comment was referring to one dumbass in particular who just started screaming f*** Bo and f*** Vlad in all caps for no apparent reason after we secured the win.

    Biggio is fair game he blocks Schneider who isn’t playing very much Yelling “f***” Bo and Vlad is unhinged lunacy, has nothing to do with a Schneider homer lol

    Yep and it’s embarrassing to get this great win and use it to complain about the star players. What exactly does Schneider’s home run have to do with Vlad and Bo?

    Yeah everyone is at least average out there defensively except for those two and they team up for misplays almost every game so far this year

I congratulated you for Rhys Hoskins standing over at first base for a couple of games and you've been an ******* ever since. Actually, it goes back further than that as I remember you being a jerk and then refusing to buy me a Swiss Chalet gift card too after I was right about the whole Zulu DFA.

    The no-hitter aspect is rare but teams, even good ones, get beat 10-0 all the time.

    Yariel Rodriguez is dealing in Buffalo today. Perfect through 3 innings with 5 Ks.

    Well that's not true because after we signed IKF we then signed KK (he might have signed right before but it doesn't matter), Turner, Yariel Rodriguez, etc. All of them got a higher AAV than IKF so it's hard to say that he used up most of the budget.

    I'd say about half of the board's activity comes from childish rants from posters venting after a loss. That never did it for me. In order to let off steam I always recommend getting s*** canned and starting a bar fight.

    Never has a paltry 7.5M AAV signing lead to so much bitching and whining in the history of this sport. It's probably only been rivaled by the best fielding CFer of all time signing for 1 year 10 mil. It's remarkable.

    Yeah but that's more of a product of the AL East being a beast. The Orioles barely project any better. Even so, I do think it's a mark against Atkins that he has this big payroll but we only have a coin flip chance at the playoffs. But still, this isn't some dreaded start like people would have you believe. We split a 4 game set at the Trop. Last year I think we went 3-11 versus the Rays.
