    Looking at Marsh's splits and he doesn't seem to be any worse against lefties than your typical RHP but the Jays must see something they feel they can exploit. Every lefty we've got is in the lineup.

    Excited to see Barger tonight. He lost a little shine after last year but I think that can be excused mostly due to injury. He's hitting the s*** out of the ball so far this year.

    We rally around Vlad tonight. The boys will pick him up and he's going to have a big game which will spark a big season.

    Going to be interesting to see how the playing time gets divvied up. Barger will probably get most of his run at 3B with some RF; he probably will play a ton against righties. Schneider has been playing a lot. I think he probably becomes close to a full time LF. Seems like Biggio will take the biggest hit. His RF and 3B time is probably completely gone. Now competing with IKF and Clement more at 2B. He could get more run by spelling Schneider in LF some.

    I know the AA Fanboys love to think about what could have been if he were our GM still but just imagine it. Vlad would be in year 3 of a 12 year 285 million dollar extension.

    I too would like an apology. In fact he owes us all one. We know he makes enough to spring for the Swiss Chalet gift cards for the entire board.

    If they get their pitching back on track maybe we could trade them Horwitz and Craig Biggio's son for some rotation depth.

    Yeah they do not look good. The pitching has been wrecked by injuries. They are one of the few teams with the depth to weather it but they are going through some growing pains trying to get the right young guys in place. On top of it the lineup has major depth issues. The bottom third sucks as does their entire bench outside of Dubon who is a fine UT player and nothing more. Can't believe they walked into 2024 with Jon Singleton as Abreu's backup. Not much to pull from AAA either. If one of their core regulars got an injury they could be in some deep s***.

    Biggio's playing time is surrounded on all sides with viable options at both the big league and AAA level. His .424 BABIP is pumping up his .293 xwOBA to make the casuals think he's good again but it seems like the walls might be narrowing in (finally). Could our long national nightmare finally be over? Could it finally be the year he gets cut loose? I will continue to pray that Ross Atkins finds the strength to do the right thing. Even if his father is a former Hall of Fame player.
