    Davis' numbers look good because it's a small sample size and they've generally kept him away from high velocity RHP with swing and miss fastballs. Gil isn't one of those guys. Clement has more trouble against righties with good breaking pitches. He can handle the fastball somewhat. Lukes has also had success against 4 seam fastballs.

    Bruihl is hot garbage. I trust Bassitt to get out lefties over Bruihl. We have little, Flu and Lauer. I'd much rather have had bassitt or scherzer on the roster.

    Crotchet is a killer. He's beat the Yankees 3 times this year. In a 3 game series anything can happen with Crotchet starting game 1

    I might be in the minority, but I've liked Santander's ABs. His pitch recognition has been on point for the most part. He's taking aggressive swings. We just need him to run into one.

    That's entirely untrue. He wouldn't have a 12 percent walk rate if he couldn't pick up spin. Be better. Understand the game.

    The only part of Vlad's body that is struggling is the 6 inches between his ears. One big hit. That's all it will take to free the mind up. One homer and that gorilla on his back will be shaken loose. The confidence jumps and Vlad could be dangerous again. Let's hope it happens today.

    Even if they think it's highly likely he's cooked. Easton Lucas is a never will be guy. Manoah at least was once a dude. Pitchers react different coming off Tommy John. There was no reason not to give him a full offseason to prepare and see if he could get the velocity back. This club can afford to gamble 2 mil.
