    So this board is going to go with Harold and the eye test and ignore that he has a career FWAR of .2 through 1425 plate appearances. Am I in the wrong place. Did I mistakenly enter the Sportsnet comment section?

    They said they were going to prepare him as a starter. I could just be it's not that easy to pitch with a sports hernia all year, which he did last year. I'm all for an early 6 man rotation if he has a good spring.

    Moreno is having visa issues too. With a shortened spring training, it's too bad a couple guys are missing action.

    My TV listings is showing the game as being televised tomorrow. I guess we will see if that changes.

    That's a lot. Can Moreno stick at catcher? Was Danny Jansen's second half a revelation or a mirage? Nate pitched all last season with a sports hernia. What if he puts it all together? Our team is really, really good. We don't need to pull this deal off until the deadline.

    Yeah, but what he did was in the privacy of his own home and his version of what transpired could be very different than hers. Now he may have lied to the MLB in his interview, but how can they prove anything? This one's a slippery slope for the league. They can't bully a suspension on Bauer like they may have on others because Bauer is a fiesty mofo and will appeal any suspension handed down on him.

    The league can't just put him on administration league forever. They have to make a decision whether to suspend him. They know if they suspend him that he will appeal. He will just say he engaged in a consensual acts and he wasn't charged with anything. If he an arbitrator rules in his favour the Dodgers have to DFA him to get rid of him. You don't think there is at least one team out there that will take Bauer on for league min for 2 years on the Dodgers dime?

    You don't occasionally play if you're hurt! He's not hurt. He just doesn't wanna risk getting hurt. It would seem even Springer understands what a walking bandaide he is. Relax people!

    Given the tax rates, that's got to be just as much in his pocket compared to what he got from the Dodgers.

    Given some of the rumours and what's transpired my Conforto to Jays is based on Ownership's willingness to Boldly go where they have not gone before. It would seem our payroll parameters are the highest they've ever been. injuries will happen. Conforto would get plenty of ABs.

    We just need to replace Dickerson from last years roster that ended the season. Conforto is the man for me. Decent shot at a bounce back. Grichuk will be super pouty when he's signed but with injuries and lefties he'll still get 350+ ABs.

    People are going to be shocked when a starter goes down and he plays a major role in our Rotation.

    Moreno would have to be in the deal. Biggio would be in the deal. They would ask for Martinez too, not sure what else. I don't think it's going to happen. Imagine though Springer Martinez Vlad Teoscar Bo Gurriel Chapman Kirk/Jansen Grichuk

    I actually like that idea quite a bit. The qualifying offer could have cooled his market a lot. With Ray and Semien we are 2 qualifying offers to the good already so Conforto could be a nice add.

    feel like when a player comes up and mashes for a couple years and then the K rate starts jumping that it's more the league figuring him out. It will be tough for him to bounce back to being a 20% better than league average hitter. A small bounce back. If he's 10% better than league average. Hits some bombs and plays gold glove defense. The gold glove defense is the one thing you can count on. He doesn't have to hit in the middle of this lineup. He's probably 7th or 8th in our lineup.
