    I wish him a speedy recovery. I hope he's back for the 4th game of the season.

    KP is a good dude. Watching some of his old catches...his willingness to sacrifice his body was pretty impressive. Watching him running hard into the brick wall at Wrigley was impressive. A lot of guys would have given up on a ball like that.

    It's not going to look good on the Federal Government denying the Jays when the Province says Yes. I feel pretty good that the Feds will give their blessing now that the province has come out first and said YES!

    how could you forget Tejada. Chase Utely broke his leg and they changed the way you're allowed to slide into 2nd.

    nice to see Grichuk take a walk...if he could just up his walk rate it would be a big win for the Jays.

    I wish Griffin Conine could fine a local league to play in. This season really sucks for guys like Griffin who missed the 60.

    On the 1st...I'm assuming it was Covid...I was hopeful maybe he tested negative twice and caught a flight. It will be interesting to see how quick the Covid cases get back.

    There's one tomorrow too! What can you say about Bo....first pitch? I was really looking forward to see Rowdy's ABs. I was glad to see him against Giles. I thought he put up a really good battle after going 0-2 despite hitting a hard ground out. A nice single on a curve an a HPB. Dolis was another guy who didn't disappoint. All in all most of the regulars got a hit or a walk...great to see baseball on TV again!

    fair enough, but Jansen didn't move his glove, so he called a bad pitch or he got shook off and Roark was dumb for going with the fastball!

    That look on Jansen's face was priceless...Man this is going to be fun this year. That pitch from Roark wasn't even a bad pitch. Up and on the outer half of the plate. He might have wanted it up a couple inches, but Kirk was all over it. Kirk is a MLB hitter today, let alone in 2 years from now.

    Except Roark...even Walker couldn't go there after today's homerfest.

    I'm so excited we signed Ryu. I can't wait for opening day.

    I never liked that signing one bit. It's just one day of summer camp, but pretty much the entire team took Roark deep today.

    So Anderson is out with an Oblique strain which is tricky. It can take awhile. It got me thinking. Who do you have at the back end of the rotation. Ryu Roark Shoemaker Pearson after a week We will need 2 starters in the first week. Borucki, Thornton, Kay, Yamaguchi, Merryweather, Zeuch, Murphy.....Who do you guys have filling in?

    He came out and apologized. Covid blows, twitter is impulsive. Time to move on. We need the 2018 Shaw at third this year.

    Borucki with 3 scoreless today. I wish we could get a box score from these intersquad games.

    Stro can be a dick and way to sensitive, but Randall doesn't seem all that smart. I'd also have Stro on my team because he's a better player. Huff takes being a POS to another level though.

    Given the new arrivals, there's a decent chance Gurriel might have tested positive. If you're going to have a key player test positive, now is the time I guess. Hopefully he comes through this well and can come back soon if he did test positive.

    2 homers are 2 homers. You can't take that away from the big man, but they were off anthony bass and Joey Murray.

    If Rowdy is league average he doesn't have a place. If he could be 20% to 25% better than league average you have to put him in there as a DH against right handers. The problem is, will he be given a chance? 3 hits yesterday with a homer and another homer today. If he stays hot for the next 2 weeks he might force the issue. He looks fitter to me. Shaw is lucky that Vlad is too fat to play 3rd. If Vlad was still at 3rd Rowdy might steal playing time from Shaw.
