  1. I said he was almost a 2 win player for the Giants. He was a negative WAR player in a handful of bats with the Jays utterly distracted by the fact that he knew he was leaving. He was indeed close to a 2 win player for his time with the Giants. His bat was 7% below league average with the Giants. Regardless, Kevin Pillar is perfectly fine at 4 mil dollars and I'll wager a month worth of posting that he doesn't get DFA'd by Boston this year if you're man enough to accept the bet.
  2. Pillar put up almost 2 wins for the Giants. I'd make a bet(a non monetary wager) with you that Pillar won't get DFA'd, but you can't bring yourself to gamble can you. Making a wager where you might lose posting privileges for a month...definite no no...jerking off in public parking places....thumbs up!.....You're a weird duck Jimmy.
  3. Dyson is 4 and half years older than Pillar. You're not worried about decline there..lol. You take the last 2 years of WAR of both players and average them out and Dyson is half of Pillar. Pillar at 4 million is not an overpay.
  4. It's crazy how much people hate kevin Pillar because he's a nice guy. It seems ridiculous. He's a 1.5 to 2 win player if he gets enough playing time. How is that not worth 4 mil especially to organizations with tons of cash. The Red sox paid Panda and Castillo over 100 mil for the pair to produce less than zero wins combined. I highly doubt they will regret paying Pillar 4 million dollars.
  5. I'm a bit surprised Salazar hasn't signed somewhere yet. You'd think someone would offer a mil guaranteed with incentives.
  6. Yes the random Mercedez in the dollarama parking lot. POS car, POS car, POS car, POS car....Mercedez! Who would have thought the Mercedez would have drawn attention in a dollarama parking lot. Just bad luck I guess.
  7. It's a 10 out 10 on the stupidity scale. I don't want dumn ball players on the Jays.
  8. yeah, I'm not suggesting masturbating is as bad as murder, but I don't want my kid to see either one. Use your f***ing head. You're a professional f***ing athlete with a multi million dollar career at stake. Don't jerk off in public. You have to question his mental make up. He probably needs to get some help. I'm not saying I can't give the kid another chance, but he needs to get his s*** together. This isn't a man that could have happened to anyone type of situation. It's more of what the f*** was he thinking type of situation.
  9. so if we walked out into a mall parking lot and a guy shot another guy's head off it would be okay for her to see it because she wasn't expecting it. What the f***.
  10. because I don't want my seven year old daughter seeing that. Seriously, are you devoid of common sense. There's zero reason the kid couldn't find a place to do this act where no one would have seen him.
  11. the same opinion held by 99% of people. You are a cool one Mr. Jim....a 1%er for life.
  12. Just so we are clear. Jerking off in the middle of an afternoon in a busy parking lot with unsuspecting people is not fine, not normal and it's not OK!
  13. he's asking why you didn't drop your son off at daycare before doing the deed.
  14. you don't even have an imaginary girlfriend, let alone an imaginary daughter into black guys.
  15. You should introduce Verdugo to your daughter. He seems like a nice fellow.
  16. The dodgers have something like 40 mil committed to payroll in 2022 excluding arb players and I know there are some significant names there. I would be very surprised if he doesn't resign with the dodgers. The dodgers can spend 280 on payroll if they want.
  17. I just remember thinking the Eovaldi signing was dumb when they made it. Castillo is off the books after this year. Jackie Bradley Jr could have been non-tendered. It seems they low balled him and then the market revalued this year and they were stuck. It just seems that a team that can comfortable spend over the luxury tax could have paid him a year or two ago and locked him up. It's not often a Boston, New York or LA loses home grown talent.
  18. The thought that a team like the Sox, with their money, let a home grown top 5 player in the league go seems insane. You'd think they'd plan for that extension and have the money to take care of it.
  19. Sportrac already has Price's salary adjusted to 16 mil. Did the sox eat half his salary? I still think Price could bounce back next year. Price at 16 mil a year for 3 years is pretty decent.
  20. well there goes my dream of signing Mookie betts next year. It was fun while it lasted.
  21. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/jump?year=2019&min=q Teoscar had a couple throwing errors in centre which can vary greatly year to year. Their jumps are almost identical and Teoscar has a stronger arm. His decision making with his throws is something he can improve upon. Teoscar did make some improvements over the previous year defensively, but they both are going to be below average defenders in CF.
  22. The difference between Grichuk and Teoscar in CF is minuscule compared to Shaw and Vlad switching positions. If we're trying to win games, Vlad should be at first and Shaw should be at 3rd.
  23. if bonds and clemens don't make it in the next 2 years, the committee will not put them in. They should be in, but I'm not so sure they will.
  24. The thing about Walker, as much time he missed, he played hurt so often. He basically won batting titles in 98 and 99 playing at 75% health. In his final season he played with a herniated disk in his neck taking regular cortisone shots and still put up a 135 wRC+ playing for the Cardinals at age 38. The guy would have put up insane numbers and probably put up a career wRC around 155 if he had just been able to stay healthy. Here is a great article written in 2001 by SI. https://www.si.com/vault/2001/06/11/305049/handy-man-the-rockies-larry-walker-has-all-the-major-league-tools-and-he-wields-them-like-a-master-craftsman
  25. yeah got that after the fact...but it wouldn't shock me if someone from barstool sports actually put out a ballot like this just to get publicity...lol.
