    Andrus is so overrated in fantasy baseball. I actually liked Spanky's side of that deal better - unfortunately he got hurt.

    Yeah all those BP acquisitions by JPR in the 2003/2004 offseason turned out to be awful. Lightenberg, Adams, De Los Santos. Speier was really the only good BP arm acquired that offseason.

    Can't forget Tanyon Sturtze as well. Pretty awful.

    Cliff Politte was awful as well that season. Trevor Miller was a pleasant surprise and Aqualino Lopez ended up being the teams closer at the end though he completely exploded in 2004 and then never was heard from again.

    Yeah that was basically a huge bite in the ass. He sucked while he was here, misses a whole year and then is one of the best pitchers in baseball for the next 4-5 years.

    That was a jerk move from Ted Lilly, though other from that incidence I really liked him as a pitcher. He was a great pickup by JPR and he went on to have a very good career, especially in the NL with the Cubs and Dodgers.

    He came out of the bullpen to that Coolio song "Gangsta's Paradise" lol not intimidating at all.

    Can't forget Kevin Gregg! The best closer in baseball!

    Yup, all Hamilton has going for him is hype from his 70 SB seasons in the minors. He won't reach that total in the bigs. Basically probably better picking up Rajai Davis for nothing off waivers or in a trade.

    Wow that's a pretty mediocre return for one of the best pitchers in baseball. I think Strasburg could have fetched better talent. Bradley is great, though the rest of the package isn't anything sexy.

    Jo Jo Reyes for sure. The Jays gave him 20 starts that season and AA was doing everything in his power to keep him on the roster after spring training I remember because he believed he would have been able to net something in a trade. What a waste.

    I liked AJ when he was here. Never had a problem with him.

    4 WAR in 2005 and had the highest IP total that season. Also, he had the stretch of like 14 or 16 straight quality starts I believe. He was huge for the Jays that season especially with Doc getting injured and Lilly sucking. Towers was fun to watch and he had impeccable control. He worked fast, hardly walked anybody and was someone that was easy to root for. Also, he was the only Jays pitcher that had the balls to beam A-Rod. Yes it was with an 88mph fastball but who cares. He actually went out there and stood up for his team, which definitely probably demanded a ton of respect from players in the clubhouse.
