  1. Just trade the D'Backs a bunch of relievers and they'd likely trade Ian Kennedy lol. Kidding aside, I'm sure Kevin Towers would look to add an improved starter over Kennedy, however at the same time the D'backs want to clear payroll so adding Buerhrle is likely out of the question. For sure the D'Backs would take a serious look at Janssen and other relievers like Delabar and Oliver. Towers loves bullpen arms more than AA.

  3. I'd still take Asdrubal over Andrus anyday of the week. If I want 30-40 SB with a sub .700 OPS, I'll go after a Rajai Davis or Jarrod Dyson in like the last rounds or pluck them off the waiver wire.
  4. Tulo? He's in a class of his own when it comes to shortstops. He hasn't run at all this season, though his other numbers are lightyears better than the other shortstops. A .335/.396/.613 slash line along with 19 HR and 59 RBI despite missing time this season is pretty darn good. He missed a good chunk of last season, though he's a solid bet for 130-140 games to go 30/100 with a .900 + OPS and from a shortstop thats terrific production. He's not a consensus top 5 pick anymore since he doesn't run that much, though he's definitely a great pick between 10-20 or even as a later pick in the top 10. I think I took him 14th in this league and I don't regret it. I was debating between him and Justin Upton at the time in that slot.
  5. There's really no upside with him in fantasy baseball. It's not like he's going to steal 60-70 bases like Ellsbury or Reyes have in the past. Doubt he ever reachers double digits in home runs as well like you said. I just find it shocking that he's always a top 100 pick every year in fantasy baseball - I just don't understand why.
  6. My problem with Andrus is that every year in drafts, he's drafted like a top 50-80 player in fantasy baseball, which he clearly isn't. He can put up nice numbers like SB, runs, BA, though I would never take him anywhere in the top 100.
  7. Yeah likely doubt it. Maybe Morrow if he was healthy though doubt they'd want anybody else.
  8. I say the Yankees go hard after McCann this offseason.
  9. Kendrick is signed through 2015 - his last contract extension wasn't that bad (4 yr, $33 million). Not sure why the Angels would want to move him.
  10. I likely would have had Tampa coming in first, with the Jays likely in second and the Red Sox and O's flipped between 3rd or 4th. I would have thought with the Yankees roster at the beginning of the season that they'd find it tough to push .500 though Wells, Overbay, Hafner really held their ground for those 2 months haha.
  11. I'll go with EE today - he's been on fire against the Astros.
  12. Ill go with jose bautista today he is due. if not in the lineup then lawrie
  13. I'd consider moving a starter like Hughes or McCarthy if they interest you. Price could be available - would cost a lot though if I moved him.
  14. Feliz would be a nice reclamation project for the Jays if they worked him as a starter. I'd like that deal.
  15. Hamilton is the most overrated prospect in baseball. Or was...
  16. Profar could at least slide into second base for the Jays and their problem up the middle is solved for the next decade with him at second.
  17. I traded for Burnett in the offseason in the FC dynasty league. Traded Derek Jeter for Burnett + a 2nd rounder. Most managers laughed at my end of the deal, since they thought Burnett was awful. He had a terrific 2012 season in Pittsburgh with excellent K % and was a workhorse. Burnett has been a great pitcher for me this season, one of my better ones and he didn't cost that much as what other starters like Marcum, Peavy, Wilson, Garza, Haren would have costed me.
  18. I can see the Jays bringing back Marcum as well either on a minor league deal, or cheap one year deal + incentives.
  19. Burnett could retire, though I'm sure if a NL team offers him a 2 year deal worth $20-$25 million, he'll likely take it.
  20. The thing is though, the Jays don't really have a bonafied ace at the top of the rotation. Dickey was supposed to be that guy, though he's been pitching more like a barely passable No. 3 or No. 4; JJ has ace potential, though injuries; won't know what you get from Morrow - he can either be dominant or injuries could be a problem, and its tough to peg him in for 25 + starts, 200+ innings, which is what you'd expect from a No. 1-2 starter; Buerhle is a solid No. 4 who provides bulk innings and Happ is just a No. 5 guy.
  21. I could see Doc brought in as a PR move. Though I'm sure Doc wants to pitch on a contender in the NL - if the Jays were winning this year I'm sure he'd have no problem coming here. Might be tougher to lure him now however. Also, I could see the Jays signing Marcum to a minor league deal or 1 year deal + incentives.
  22. Possibly well could be, though he's still very young and I haven't been pleased with the way the Rangers have been using him. If he's up in the Majors, he should be playing everyday, plain and simple. He shouldn't be flipped around the diamond as much as he has been.
  23. Unless the Jays get Profar + for one of those bats, then EE and Bautista are staying put.
