  1. I think you're going to have to pay more then face value regardless. That's why, come up with a number you and your friends are comfortable with going over face value and then when you come across something decent on Friday, scoop them up. You can maybe wait until later that evening, though the worry is the selection might not be the greatest and that the best valued seats are all gone.
  2. Giants are a difficult team to beat in a 7 game series. If Bumgarner is rested, they could throw him at you 2-3 times easily. Cueto has pitched well for them, and guys like Shark & Moore can pitch well at AT&T. The lineup is still pretty good (Span, Pence, Posey, Belt, Crawford). Gillaspie is having a Marco Scutaro type postseason for them. Giants would be a dangerous team, don't kid yourself.
  3. If the Giants win this game, they will win Game 5 in Chicago.
  4. Another site to use is Vivid Seats, which isn't bad. I'd recommend taking a look at how many tickets are available Thursday night and if there are still a lot, then check back Friday morning/early afternoon. Thing with waiting until 7-8PM is that the selection might not be the greatest if people start scooping up tickets earlier that day, plus then you'll be on the app or sitting in front of a computer refreshing for hours, which at the end of the day might not be worth spending all that time taking the chance to save an extra $10-20. Also, have an idea of what each price level costs face value, so when purchasing on StubHub, you know how much more you're paying for that seat. Set a number that you're comfortable with going over face value (e.g. $50-$75 more), and then if something good pops up and within the budget you set, then pick them up. Thing with StubHub is the fees will screw you over more then anything.
  5. Call StubHub and ask, or maybe try and do a google/reddit search. Each ballpark is different, so sometimes there is a cutoff on Stubhub like 2-3 hrs before a game e.g. Seattle, Citi Field etc. from my experience. Also, check if they do allow scan in's from StubHub. Not every ballpark does.
  6. Who even drives in NYC? lol.
  7. Want to join me and Spanky for a beer?
  8. Most of Toronto's main media outlets/personalties are pushing the PC/SJW agenda on this. I understand that some of these teams names are offensive, though I hope they make this series about baseball instead of focusing on the name of Cleveland's team.
  9. I got tickets this morning, thanks though
  10. There is no point in catching a foul ball because then you have to give it to a damn spoiled, privileged kid who doesn't even like baseball.
  11. My advice, click on the price level instead of best available. And when you see a new one pop up, just click that one meaning likely some seats became available. I did that for Game 1 (Lower Box Front popped up randomly so I was always selecting that one, and I got in). Game 2, same thing for Field Box Middle.
  12. Just got a pair in Sec 136, Row X for Game 1
  13. Yeah can't believe it as well. Guess I just got lucky. Trying for Game 1, though hardly any price levels left to choose from.
  14. Got a pair for Game 2, Sec 152, Row Y. Says view is limited because sitting behind a net, though I'm assuming that is the next behind the plate then.
  15. Yeah I saw that. At the beginning only 4 price levels were available (2 with limited views lol) and if you clicked to open a new window, more price levels came up. Even tried for a single, but same thing popping up. Something is messed up with their system.
  16. StubHub prices are pretty crazy as well, geez. Might not be able to go if tickets are going to cost me a $1000 for just two games.
  17. Yeah their site was awful this morning. No luck on any tickets at all. Even tried calling the box office and busy.
  18. Tickets are pretty expensive on StubHub. Public sale for the ALCS goes on sale tomorrow, so hoping I can grab a pair for Game 1 & 2. Might even try for Game 6 & 7 since those games will be next Friday/Saturday and would definitely be able to go.
  19. Grant is probably going crazy right now!
  20. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1wc_yKZX6VI/VeR2PmrZtPI/AAAAAAAATow/2wiEY2Y-Vu0/s1600/morgan-freeman-oh-fuck.gif
  21. Trevor Bauer seems like a huge wanker.
  22. It seems like Andrew Miller will be used every game. Love what Francona has done during the ALDS against Boston.
  23. Going down to Cleveland! Got my hotel booked, just need tickets!
  24. Could still buy tickets for Game 5 of the ALDS off the Cleveland Indians site haha.
  25. Anyone considering to go to Cleveland if they advance to the ALCS? Game 1 and 2 would be Friday/Saturday and tickets for the ALCS haven't gone on sale yet to the general public from the looks of it.
