Another site to use is Vivid Seats, which isn't bad. I'd recommend taking a look at how many tickets are available Thursday night and if there are still a lot, then check back Friday morning/early afternoon. Thing with waiting until 7-8PM is that the selection might not be the greatest if people start scooping up tickets earlier that day, plus then you'll be on the app or sitting in front of a computer refreshing for hours, which at the end of the day might not be worth spending all that time taking the chance to save an extra $10-20.
Also, have an idea of what each price level costs face value, so when purchasing on StubHub, you know how much more you're paying for that seat. Set a number that you're comfortable with going over face value (e.g. $50-$75 more), and then if something good pops up and within the budget you set, then pick them up. Thing with StubHub is the fees will screw you over more then anything.
