Thanks for the update. Francisco's been a valuable piece so far. Good to see, maybe he'll keep it up and they'll let him play some more games at 3rd. -

He made some decent pitches when it counted. But not impressive overall.

Navarro is fine- sore quad. Pinch hitting is nowhere near the level of catching 9 innings.

As Tabler said, hamstring tightness isn't that bad. Hopefully he just needs to stretch it a bit and get some sleep and he'll be fine.

That's the issue. He's not a monster at the dish but considering who he'd be replacing I consider it a big upgrade.

I'd be ok with that actually. From what I've seen Lawrie looks fine at 2nd, and Francisco hasn't been as bad as I expected. It's better than watching one of the scrubs hit like a pitcher.

Morrow 2013-2014 stats: GS: 16 ERA: 5.73 FIP around 5 WHIP above 1.5 WAR: 0.2 And he's diabetic and turning 30 in July. Ervin Santana got 14.1 million- much better deal. There will probably be a better 1 year option than spending 10 million on Morrow, especially with the potential lack of payroll flexibility. -
Tough loss. This game reminded me why I stopped caring about basketball a few years ago. Maybe I'll go back to doing that.
