    Totally agree. Even with Stroman, it should have been a priority to get a starter and a proven reliever. Unfortunately they didn't have a lot of payroll space and used the little space available on a backloaded contract for a catcher. Even a guy like Jason Hammel would have been a nice signing, didn't have to be Shields/Lester.

    I misread your post, so my mistake. I agree, it would be annoying if they traded some guys and still missed to playoffs. The problem they are in is that they are quite possibly a win now team, at least in the eyes of management like you said and might need to make win now deals soon. But I wouldn't be too upset if they went that route.

    I'd likely be on board if the Phillies ate some salary, seems like payroll is very tight since they did nothing to the pen despite all the useful arms available.

    They would have to eat some salary, so it might be quite a bit.

    Dickey has a DRA of 3.83, and Hutch's is 3.86. Not bad at all.

    I am more of an MMA fan and rarely watch boxing but it seems like the fight is 5 years too late. Also because of this both guys have no knockout power anymore, I think the fight will disappoint for sure, but millions will be buying it for 94.99 or w/e it is.

    Would like to know that as well. But like I was saying, should just use Donaldson at short vs LHP. Why use Diaz who isn't going to have watchable at bats?
