  1. Holy s***, Schwarber is awesome.
  2. Was going to say... need to be good for tomorrow! Win or lose.
  3. Wow nice arm Soler
  4. Thanks. SI though: Jays 1.48 Rangers 2.75 Generally I believe they have the best lines for underdog betting.
  5. He seemed ok at the plate, but yes everything else he is doing looks like crap.
  6. That's different than earlier today. Considering it's the same as game 2 except the Rangers have Beltre now, and the Jays don't have Cecil... I believe the line was 1.72 or around that (even after the lineups came out) so it really doesn't make sense to me. I anticipate it to keep moving and end up around what it was for game 2. If anyone wants to hedge their happiness for tomorrow, now is probably a good time to bet on Texas.
  7. 40 HR hitter who walks more than he strikes out... I'd like them to sign him into his late 30s and have him retire as a Blue Jay eventually.
  8. Agree. I don't think Norris is going to be a great pitcher. He'll be a decent starter probably, but I am not convinced he'll ever be more than a mid rotation guy.
  9. lol wtf is this s***
  10. Why? Just enjoy the moment. Life goes on if they lose... baseball is more unpredictable than any other sport. This isn't Leafs-Bruins 2013.
  11. Agree, so it was a pretty bad question because of what you said lol. Entering the series, you would have assumed that Price starts games one and five. Your expected performance of Stroman in this game can't really exceed what you expected of Price initially in a game five.
  12. It's Hamels. The Rangers aren't completely retarded so it's Hamels.
  13. Well of course. But Stroman continued to look dominant in game 2, so we should be fairly confident. I think we'll see a close game that comes down to who gets the timely hits, which makes for of course great baseball. Still you have to like the Jays' chances!
  14. It's worse in Toronto than almost every other city. Just an observation over the years I've been a fan.
  15. Harold Reynolds was correct. People in Toronto suck at catching foul balls. It's a fact I've been saying for years. Watch games in Boston or St. Louis, actual baseball cities where the ball doesn't bounce off 3 people before getting caught.
  16. Totally agree on Price. This is probably one of the worst decisions the team has made in a long time IMO. Maybe they are using Dickey for a couple of innings before Price or Stroman for the Dickey effect...
  17. No exactly my point. He could pitch really well tomorrow. Odds are he won't be lights out but it's possible.
  18. You guys should stop assuming they will pound Holland. He's had a rough stretch but has more upside to put together a good start than all their pitchers outside of Cole Hamels.
  19. Still a terrible decision to use Dickey. Price just had 11 days rest and is a veteran rental. Pitch him FFS.
  20. Price needs to sit the f*** down. He is a must start tomorrow if the Jays can hang on.
