I actually think they are probably not reducing injury risk. I mean, Sanchez' stiff lower half is not helping him at all in that regard and his timing is bad. Nothing about this seems natural... it's almost like he jumps up in the air and lands on his front leg. I wonder if he could throw even harder with more efficient mechanics.

well now you've jumped the shark seriously though, Sanchez' tall and fall mechanics are just disgusting and so not athletic and I hate the Blue Jays for developing him like that I don't think you fix command/control problems by making a guy more rigid. That seems counter intuitive to me. It's possible that it was all Sanchez on his own though

I find it fascinating that there are zero Urenas in MLB history, except for Jose Urena from 2015, yet there are like 46 current Urena prospects in the minor leagues. How does a Dominican last name just infiltrate the game all of a sudden with no prior history? So odd. Maybe Ang can explain the mystery of the name
