Quentin has a .361 wOBA in his career, you dimwit. He was a top ~5 offensive player in the AL at one point. I'm sorry for making you feel dumb re: Alvarez. In the future, try to be less dumb though.

You would have to assume that he'll only come back if he is healthy, or can get healthy. Obviously you wouldn't rely on him to throw 200 innings anymore. Maybe he makes 20 starts and is more of a swing man by the end of the year.

Morneau is the best target, for sure. Low cost and short term, still decent upside, tons of experience, an impeccable human, endlessly handsome, a marketing dream, gives Pompey Martin and Saunders someone else who speaks their language, and it would be reasonable to platoon him with Colabello.

He might be better than Smoak as a platoon option with Colabello, but I certainly wouldn't hit him in the middle of the order. Maybe 6th

As a baseball fan, fingers crossed for Byung-Ho Coors. CarGo-Arenado-Dickerson-Park --> fireworks Reyes and Blackmon could steal 30 each, all four of those ^ dudes could hit 30+ each, and the Rockies would probably still lose 90 games.

Seriously though, I watched Park hit two home runs on youtube and I see a Josh Donaldson level swing. He should step right into the league and hit at least as well as 2014 Donaldson. 130 wRC+ or better for the Park Byung-Ho. I'd give him $50 million comfortably
