    I've done it more than once, personally. I always check the spreadsheet either before or immediately after adding a young player though, so in every instance I've dropped the player immediately.

    Sanchez did not have great K rates as a prospect, relative to other top prospects. The lofty BB/9 also made the K/9 overrate his strikeout capabilities, which is important to remember. What you really care about is K%-BB%, and Sanchez' was pretty awful. I'm not sure what's wrong with Greene. Didn't get a great look at him this spring.

    Yeah it's retarded. Teams always get lucky/unlucky and slide up and down the standings. Sometime the #2 seed by true talent should probably be in the #4 vs #5 matchup, for example. But this year in the Eastern Conference the NHL will have the #7 team in the points standings facing #6. And one of those teams might not be playoff calibre by true talent (Ottawa), and if it's OTT-TOR they are arguably the 7th and 8th best teams by talent, facing off in the first round. Gross!

    Yeah kind of seems a bit harsh. Risks having him rage quit the league. I agree that simply sitting a starter is not enough - adding an owned prospect and collecting their stats brings the reputation of the league into disrepute and there needs to be a deterrent. However, adding an owned prospect is an easy mistake to make. I did it in the DDL last week (of course, I noticed right away and dropped the guy). I think you should decrease the penalty pick a bit. But it's none of my business.

    Agreed. Start the season a little bit earlier and condense the playoff schedule a wee bit more (more back-to-back games in the first few rounds).
