  1. Obviously it's an awful time to trade Donaldson because of how he is playing right now. That's a big part of the calculus. Tulo's bat doesn't play at 3B anymore and those two won't be ready to take over SS. I think he's still a decent SS. It is what it is - he has no trade value so he's entrenched there. Smoak is having a great year but I don't know if he'd fetch that much, even he finishes strong. Just such a long track record of mediocrity. Well sucking, actually. It's the guys with no trade value that could still reasonably be good at baseball in 2018 (Tulo, Martin, Morales, Pearce) that make trying one more time inviting. There's also absolutely no reason they can't just try again and if it doesn't work flip Smoak, Donaldson, and Happ at the deadline in 2018
  2. I've always though Toronto should just re-roll in 2018 and the lack of clear trade candidates just reinforces that... this window has one more year. It's a good thing, guys. 2018 could be fun. Mix these veterans in with some other younger guys like Alford, Pompey, Tellez, Jansen, SRF, Gurriel, RP Greene, Mayza. And then in 2019 the next window starts. The Vlad Bo era.
  3. 2017 is a BABIP surge but he is an above average hitter. More like .270/.300 though
  4. "Neon" Keon Broxton just get f***ing demoted. Rekt.
  5. I'll give you McCutchen back for a sensual fisting
  6. Funny that McGowan is almost the last man standing though
  7. I think there's a good chance both teams would do it, if they weren't in the same division.
  8. Dombrowski is playing 4 dimensional chess, you nincompoop. He got Sale and kept Devers. Winning
  9. Personally, I'm still making myself laugh with "doesn't get cheated" and "lacks projection"
  10. DDL scouting reports Fearthedoc - a professional hitter P2F - 60 OFP Jaysblue - elite plate discipline Torontofan - tweener profile boxy - well below-average bat speed NJH - high baseball IQ GD - doesn't get cheated The Cats Ass - frustratingly inconsistent GeorgiaPeach - org player jays_fever - great clubhouse guy Dr. Dinger - the good face z3r0s - he's a baseball player SpeedyGose - lacks extension KingKat - slow-twitch athlete Silvergun - he's got all five tools BTS - warning track power Spanky99 - extremely poor control Havok24 - the tools are here Sammy225 - ugly girlfriend TheHurl - lacks projection
  11. Someone just compared his stats to Bo's lmfao. Noda is essentially irrelevant.
  12. It's funny how quickly all these Ryan Noda superfans have forgotten about Bradley Jones.
  13. Yeah that White Sox top 10 is f***ing legendary right now. I wonder if it will work out for them!
  14. I think Felipe is probably the best player in that deal.
  15. People really don't understand how important age is when prospecting.
  16. And then you have guys like Julio Urias, who maybe have their elite career washed out before it even begins. This sport is tremendously awful
