  1. Love the guy but Lamb is just Moose / Franco except on a heater right now. Sell high--and don't say I didn't tell you so when you don't and wish you did
  2. Here is my reverse trade block. Hit me up if you own any of these guys and you want to trade them to me. Jake Lamb Jose Bautista Mitch Haniger George Springer Kyle Schwarber Rhys Hoskins Joc Pederson Ian Desmond AJ Pollock Khris Davis Jackie Bradley Jr Jon Lester Rick Porcello Michael Pineda Mike Leake Luis Severino Sonny Gray Madison Bumgarner Eric Thames Daniel Murphy Marco Estrada Trevor Rosenthal Chris Devenski Bo Bichette Vlad Jr. Brent Honeywell Kyle Tucker Triston McKenzie AJ Puk Mike Soroka Carter Kieboom Kyle Funkhouser Jacob Faria Vladimir Guttierez
  3. The service time thing is a very small factor. Mostly it just sucks that his year has been stolen by injuries, again.
  4. Broxton or Buxton in dynasty? Does it hinge on whether or not your team is competing immediately or is it just Broxton 100%?
  5. Pretty nice little player, indeed. BJ Upton 2.0
  6. They have 9 RP right now and you can argue that Alford would have been a better keep than Coghlan. There was an outside chance he was up for good.
  7. Also burns a huge amount of his service time.
  8. Dr. Dinger - a plagiarist story http://i.imgur.com/mbWaZy2.png http://i.imgur.com/FAGZuDp.png
  9. Yasiel Puig had a good week to start the year. Fangraphs got really excited! http://i.imgur.com/lnzAsrN.png http://i.imgur.com/A2TPw28.png ... http://i.imgur.com/kxdtu5H.png ... http://i.imgur.com/zRjf4YX.png ... 10. Players that are held on MLB rosters at the beginning of the draft cannot be drafted in the rule 4. This means that nobody can cut a prospect that hasn't played an MLB game but is currently held on their MLB roster as an NA right before one of their rule 4 picks in order to "demote" said player to their MiLB roster. If a prospect that hasn't played an MLB game gets cut from an MLB roster before the rule 4 draft begins, then they can be drafted. In other words, a player can't gain MiLB draft eligibility during the draft.
  11. Corey Dickerson is my spirit animal I very much regret trading Scott Schebler for nothing immediately before he became new Jay Bruce
  12. Yeah you definitely did. It sucks when a veteran's value plummets off a cliff. Pujols' value has been gone for a few years now though. I hope he has one more elite hitting year just for his reputation.
  13. Vlad should/could be top 5 (boner emoji)
  14. Robles is definitely not on track right now to be #1 next year. It's looking like maybe Gleyber or Rosario (if he stays down long enough).
  15. Pompey hasn't played an official game yet - he's just played one or two in extended
  16. Let's also keep in mind that I run the entire league and control all of your fates
  17. It wouldn't be a fair comparison, really. I draft with the express intention of trading everyone I pick within a matter of months, which is a pretty big handicap when simply looking back. Alls I knows is that I've been on the podium more times than you
  18. It's because they do have 3 option years left. This year and two more after!
  19. Any year a guy is on the 40 man roster but not on the 25 man roster for 20 days, he is considered to be on optional assignment and burns an option year
  20. I think Margot's upside appears mediocre enough that I'd prefer to just re-roll the asset in the draft. 26th overall is certainly high enough to land a total stud, looking at our past drafts. It's a risk but the payoff could be quite large and the chance at a payoff is also decent: Gleyber - 20th Lamb - 25th Reyes - 21st Turner - 22nd Urias - 22nd Manaea - 23rd Adames - 25th Quantrill - 22nd Paddack - 25th Rutherford - 27th Funkhouser - 28th Of course he could also draft Jon Harris 26th overall or something stupid like that.
  21. I think Grant is right. They had to add him to the 40 to protect him from the rule 5. On 40 + not on 25 + at least 20 days in minors = option year used.
