This was an interesting read. She's right in saying that the language of the team's release was different than what we usually see.
I don't buy into her framing this as the Blue Jays being aware of the false allegation statistics she cites - it seems far more likely that the language of the report was chosen based on the specifics of the situation.

Yes. People are quite clearly going to “gossip” about this story on a jays form. The outcome and public perception of it will remain utterly unchanged by anything posted here.
He’s not going to read this. There is literally zero harm in speculating here as the story unfolds. I don’t understand the “WE SHOULDN’T SPECULATE” high horse at all.
If there's a void for baseless speculation about domestic assault by Jays players, this forum should be actively trying to fill that niche and grow our base. We should replace the Halladay picture with Osuna looking sad in his jail cell.
