Yeah. He made sense if you thought it was a 110-120 wRC+ DH. But a league average (or worse) DH who has no reason to play 1B with Smoak and Pearce around and runs like Pujols? That’s an anchor.

There’s an easy way to avoid sending him back: cut bait on Morales. He’s been s*** for his entire tenure and projects to continue being s***. At this point, it’s been long enough that I could see the team admitting to a $33M mistake and sending him packing.
