This is a game being played between two of the three worst teams in baseball, and most of the innings will go to David Hess and Edwin Jackson. For those reasons, I am out.

I feel like potentially interested teams aren’t going to ignore a DL stint for elbow inflammation that ended 6 weeks (at best) before the deadline. Negotiations have likely already been happening for weeks.

Hunter Pence has a 135 wRC+ and looks like he could go 30/100/100. When is the last time a hitter his age had a monster season out of nowhere like that? I can't think of a similar case.
