That might be all, folks

I guess they could go 6-5 from here and make the playoffs if everyone else sucks

But wow, these guys stink

Could have been leading the WC but instead still 1 game back and now only 0.5 game up on a team that owns the tiebreaker. This loss was a backbreaker.

Fisher in the pen? He was supposed to open tomorrow? This team man.

This is what puzzled me tonight, and not getting someone ready sooner for Soriano, but he was dealing.

Still don't get why Rogers couldn't have pitched the 8th. He's a soft tosser it's go time he's barely threw many pitches

Like their pitching decisions has done anything to prevent injuries.  Just too many idiots making decisions who know nothing about the game.

The problem isn't just Cleveland or Texas, it's that were completely losing touch with Chicago also. Have to make up four losses on them with 11 games left. So if they fall into the wild card we're basically doomed.

Terrible tactical error not sending Mac to steal.

John thought the game was over after 6 innings, he threw away his notepad

While this is annoying, it's honestly the least of our problems. There's so many reasons why we're here in this position, this is like reason 48😅

stupid graphic  - it means nothing

Its just Schneider’s inability to pivot quickly enough. Did it all year with Hoffman, plenty of games it was clear he would blow and JS made a change way too late. Now he’s doing it with Soriano fairly consistently

Well that was gut wrenching.  I don't care what type of Jays fan you are.  Brutal.

Yeah I’m going to need a break. That was frustrating and I really can’t see them winning many games against Detroit or Texas.

Yeah a tough one but shite happens.  The Jays are still in this.

Meaningful baseball in September is a gift.

So a manager of his caliber is worse than 3 Wins? I don't think so man.

Rogers is another one that I'm sure could have gone - he's got a rubber arm

his BA vs lefties .232, vs righties .211

My point... 💯

The Jays gave up in August and made a few shrewd moves that helped the team and the future of this franchise, can't not like that.

Thats more because of the 6 wild card spots and a crappy AL than about us.

Hope this doesnt confuse people in thinking this was a successful season in any way lol

They obviously had him shut down.

People like to say managers don’t matter, but plenty of times you see a mid-season firing and the team immediately plays better.

Redsox this year, Phillies this year, Phillies 2022, etc

My post has nothing to do with what wildcard spots, a crappy AL, or a successful season.

That's baseball man.

Yeah that s*** usually happens when players know they are NEXT... hahaha... I think it's 3 at max.

yea watching the press conference now so sounds like he wasn't available - at least according to JS's response

I didn’t think the Jays could hurt me anymore after how 2025 ended but they found a way tonight. That Okamoto blast will be forgotten now instead of being a pivotal moment in their playoff push. I guess win the next two and hope the Guardians split (or get swept, ideally).

Joe Mantiply.

One run game against the top of their lineup, eighth inning.

Joe. Mantiply.

He throws 86. He was DFAd and released last year, early, and couldn't get back to the league. He was a minor league signing that had like two good weeks way back in April.

Joe. Mantiply. Mantiply Joe.

Over everyone else.

You demoted Ricky Tiedemann today. You fixed Brendon Little but didn't use him. Fisher was available and you didn't use him. You could have just used Varland for the top of the lineup and had Fisher to back him up. Rogers is a rubber arm who should be able to pitch almost every game.

joe mantiply

joe man

it's joe-ver, man.

The post game presser is a joke, you can hardly hear the questions - but I think someone asked if Rogers was availalbe when the question should have been why tf did you use Mantiply

This is where getting Fish ip, puzzles me, use him right there, then. That's my only beef. I understood the match-ups, but...
