Yeah Fisher tonight and the parade of scrubs last night is certainly a decision. The Guardians had Austin Hedges pitching in the 9th. I don't think you needed to use anyone of leverage here John, but JS is JS.

He's thrown 1 inning in the last 5 days and he's a JAG who's almost walking 5 per 9.

Damn, didn't realize he's been this bad for months. I'd still rather have him on the mound than Spaghetti, Mantiply, Lorenzen, etc, but clearly isn't in the Miles-Flu-Rogers-Varland tier.

So given the circumstances you think Bateman swinging 2-0 at a borderline strike was ok? I didn't think I had to explain the circumstance in detail. If someone isn't watching the game or following online, don't be so quick to comment. Massive game tomorrow. The difference between being 2.5 GB and .5 GB. Hopefully we get the good version of Soriano and the offense can cook again like tonight. Pretty much all the woes of the Season can be erased if this team can sneak into the playoffs and Vlad has a strong September. Like what really more could we ask for at this point. The American League is utterly terrible and anything could happen in the playoffs.

I think the team can still make the playoffs with Vlad's offensive woes as they've been winning a ton of games recently with little offensive contributions from Vlad. I believe Vlad needs to heat up if they are going to accomplish anything in the playoffs however.

I think the Rangers hold the tiebreaker over us no matter what happens in the final series against them.

Orioles are yet to be determined. We are currently up 4 games to 3 with 6 games left.
