If you look at his body of work before the trade he's basically been the same guy. He's not an ace, 5-6 solid innings is what he's good for.

He's pitched against Philly, Boston, and Tampa.  All good teams and has allowed a grand total of 5 earned runs over those three games. You think that is bad performance "since joining the Jays".?

I'm not expecting him to be an ace, but in his 2 of 3 starts, his WHIP number was concerning

Well, I agree he pitched great against the Red Sox, but I don't think his start against the Phillies was good considering his IP and WHIP
