jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Petco is one of my favourite parks. Most away teams stay at the Omni Hotel right attached to the ballpark. I remember seeing Mark Reynolds in line at the Starbucks and Mike Matheny at the hotel bar when I saw the Padres play the Cardinals in 2015 haha. Nice guys!
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Look at that bullpen chart. Must feel like an entire offseason's worth of rest for those guys after the hell they've been through this first half. bronson44 and Jays24 1 1

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 2 hours ago, Laika said: Bieber needs to remove his head from his anus immediately Bieber, Vlad, Springer and Kirk. Those 4 pull their heads out and the playoffs will be easy to make. Springer had a decent June and has looked good in limited action in July so his head may have actually breached his rectum already. Kirk and Bieber are coming off injury so it's a little more understandable when it comes to their struggles but it's time to start performing. Enough has been said about Vlad.
Laika Community Moderator Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Springer needs a permanent RED LIGHT on challenging pitches. He has no clue where the edges are. It is actually hilarious. Can't believe he did a useless eighth inning challenge during Cease's no hitter bid.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If Bieber can't do well against the Padres lineup then he has serious issues.
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Springer not in the leadoff will help him and the team both.

Springer has been our 2nd best hitter since June 1st (117 wRC+) and has the highest OBP (.343). Only Okamoto (142 wRC+) has been better. Ernie's had a 94 wRC+ over the same span for reference.
