Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Jays are so cursed when it comes to no hitters. Its always the 9th inning as well. 36 years and counting.

Unless you're asking who the last person to get it to the 9th was. That would be Bowden Francis twice in 2024. Brandon Morrow gave up a hit with 2 outs in the 9th. ComeTogether 1

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago One would argue this team is more likely to win the World Series than the odds of us winning it last year. I think we are going to do it.

Stieb lost 3 no hitters and 1 perfect game in the 9th before he finally threw one. Two of those no hitters were back to back starts and he lost them both with 2 outs. The perfect game was also lost with 2 outs. Have to wonder if he's in the hall of fame conversation if he finishes a couple of those and if he gets the Cy Young he deserved in 1982 (he honestly could have won every year from 82-84).
