Hi Guys,

Just joined the forum. I’ve been a Blue Jays supporter since 1985 when I attended my first game at Exhibition Stadium.

I live in the UK so going to games has been limited over the years but I’ve attended a few.

I'm going to be in Florida in August and I’m looking to see the Jays at Tropicana Field.

I’d just like to know whereabouts in the stadium the Jays fans will congregate. I can then buy a ticket in advance.

Thanks for any help and advice..

Cheers,

Andy.

I travel to a few ballparks and the best place to sit is just behind the visitors dugout.    Visiting fans often go to the visiting side.  I believe it is 3rd base in Tropicana.

If you going to all that expense anyway, you probably are going to buy good tickets.

However if you are slightly thrifty, or are brining a lot of family friends, you might be able to hack the pricing chart a bit in the low attendance stadiums.  Went to Rockies games in Denver last year, and I got some nice seats on the 3rd base side, right where the price changed.

If you followed the Jays over the years you probably know to expect pain there.  Just prepare.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks.

Cheers mate! Hope you get to see one of very rare Jays wins at the Trop when you are in attendance

You can easily buy tickets on game day, even just a couple of hours before first pitch. There are also plenty of outdoor bars and patios around the Trop, so you’ll likely run into some Jays fans before the game.

The last time I was there, I sat on the first-base side, about 20–25 rows above the visitors’ dugout, and the seats and view were great.

Already said by others, but the Visiting Team's dugout is where you want to sit if you want to be around fellow Jays fans at away games
