Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 @Brandon Glick - this pitch table is missing Fisher's numbers from Thursday still. Must be a glitch in the code when a RPer starts a game?
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Prediction: 1. Skenes dominates and this isn't close Or 2. Jays scrape together some runs and Pittsburgh fails with RISP all day. Miracle victory.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Sosa is starting, so the Jays definitely going to explode offensively today.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 At least Sosa isnt batting cleanup anymore before he gets DFA'd soon lol. Bob_Gratton 1

DownSouthBlueJay Verified Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I knew JS was gonna sit Kaz today he’s been awful.
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Barger playing third and Okamoto to the bench seems logical. Okamoto strikes out almost every bat now.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Given the pitching matchup, the lineup and the available relievers, this is probably our biggest underdog game of the season to date? I can't imagine we've had a bigger mismatch.

Okamoto will probably won't return next year, especially if his family still in Japan, so I won't be surprised if he ask for terminate his contract to return in Japan.

I am no sold on Barger to be a regular 3B or RF, He's average in defensive, and he lack regularity in offense. If Jays still dream win a WR, will need add very good players to play at 3B and RF.

If he bats like in the playoffs, then so long as he is average defensively at either position he is fine. His arm in right field is not average.
