oh no though they make all their money because they were so smart to sign Ohtani and he brings in 500 million a year.  That just didn't work out for when the angels had him though for whatever reason.

I was reading how the AA ball is different from the AAA and MLB ball.

Skipping AAA might present a bigger challenge than it used to? The Mariners do this all the time but I'm not sure if things are different with the ball now than they were then.

I would expect the Location+ numbers on the offspeed stuff to be an aberration in this start. Nerves. 

But the STUFF is surprisingly low. Maybe one of those guys who puts up elite K-BB numbers in the minors but does not have the STUFF to make that completely translate to MLB. 

You see this from time to time, a dude will have like a 12 K/9 in AA because of his poise and command and a good changeup or something, but ends up with more of an 8 k/9 in MLB

The Mets placed Luis Robert Jr. on outright waivers yesterday. He's been hot in August, slashing .286/.342/.557 with six homers and 11 RBI. Still owed $4.9M.

Watch them keep him around next season, one of their outfielders gets hurt, they call him up from Scranton, and somehow he lucks his way into a 25–30 HR season thanks to that short porch in right field. Ah, probably not because Kelenic really does suck 😂

Given Toronto’s outfield situation and lack of power, I’d probably play him pretty much every day against both righties and lefties. Maybe you sit him occasionally against a particularly tough right-hander, but otherwise I think he’d be in the lineup regularly. That said, close to $5M is a lot of money to take on for basically one month, especially for a player who has been disappointing for three straight seasons now.
