Is this AI generated?  Jack Morris in 93 was worse than Mitch Williams and not rostered.  Shane Bieber is not young.  93 pitching was shaky with old Dave Stewart (kind of like old Max Scherzer), shaky Juan Guzman (step back from 92 awesome Juan Guzman) and Todd StottleMyer who sucked and gave up 6 runs in the 15-14 game. 

92 Jays pitching was awesome with David Cone, Jimmy Key, Juan Guzman at their best and Morris not at his best but still with mystique. 

93 Jays pitching was mediocre and they won 15-14 games.

2025 Jays pitching is questionable with 10-11 'ace', a-baller Trey Yesivage, elderly Mad Max, and not exactly healthy Shane Bieber. 

lol.  How could these guys possibly be going toe to toe with the legendary LA Dodgers?  Dodgers take 18 innings to beat them and don't even win game 1?

According the Schneider Springer has many problems some of which we will be surprised to learn after the season is over.  Despite many problems which the known ones include broken knee, torn up oblique and the unknown ones are secret for now he is still deciding whether to play.

The odds are stacked against us - Springer not playing is a big impact. But rule out this Jays team at your own pearl. We were written off going down by 2 then when Mariners won games 5. They have the mentality to beat the odds. Here’s hoping we win this one or the next one and take them home. Go Jays!

IKF should not start over Schneider.  I wish we wouldn't have acquired him.  Great dude, but he's taken the bat out of Schneider's hands.  It's made us worse.

Yea, honestly this selection decision on its own is making me think he's a bad manager. DS can hit home runs. We need multi run home runs against a more talented team.

It's like Schneider is Davis can't hit the high fastball.   Most can't hit the high fastball.  Davis won't swing at that pitch until 2 strikes.  He'll see pitches, work a walk.  IKF will has no plate disciple and makes weak contact on balls outside the zone early in counts.  Davis actually has power to crush a hanging slider and will get to a fastball middle or down.

No one knows the type of pain Springer is in except for the people around him.  If there's a chance he could play later in the series then you keep him on the roster. 

Schneider needs to f*** off on always making roster moves when theyre not required.  Usually we complain on the pitching front but this time it was on the position player side.

Right, i don't care if he strikes out on three high fastballs, he can hit a hanger for a home run on the 4th at bat. And he can also work a walk.

The love affair with IKF is so stupid.  We had Loperfido/Schneider doing so well before he got here and we've punted their playing time for such a mediocre player.

If the SP is RH and throws harder than Jamie Moyer (the current version sitting at home, not the one who played), then DS is on the bench. That’s what JS has decided. The Jays are the only team in pro sports who would value IKF at $15M, and this has been going on all playoffs so I don’t think it’s just a JS decision. The team wants IKF to start, and they were starting Craig’s son over DS two years ago. It is what it is.

Something with his arm or shoulder, he hasn't played the field in a long time. He's a better fielder than Santander and he was playing out there over Springer this post season, something didn't smell right there..

It’s tough not having Springer out there, and I know the odds aren’t on our side. But these Blue Jays have such wonderful spirit—they never give up, no matter what people say.

I’ve seen them bounce back from rough spots before, finding their way like a good song that keeps you going.

Now we just need a little momentum and maybe a lucky play or two. If they win tonight, I’ll be cheering loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear—music and all! Go Jays!
