You sound ridiculous.  I'm pointing out how hypocritical it is for fans who have ripped on JS over the past 6-8 weeks for continuing to trust Hoffman to close out games - for NOT using him in the 8th inning.  This isn't complicated - even for you.

I can’t believe the people ripping on Schneider. His done his best Kevin Cash impersonation all year, platooning and quick hooking what everyone thought was a 75-win team to within 2 wins of the World Series. It’s also probably the all time best vibes team in franchise history, and let’s be honest: that’s like 80% of the manager’s job.

This is 100% bang-on.  Let's give the benefit of the doubt to the people who have helped provide us with this great playoff run.

Rest assured though, next time something goes wrong the "fire John Schneider" people will be popping up like whack-a-mole rodents.😀

How good do you think this team would be with a competent Manager and FO?   So you think we're the clear cut World Series champs?   You think we got here in spite of our useless FO and Manager?

We're tied for the best Jays team in the last 32 years.  You think this is all happening and possible in spite of the FO and Management?  Does that make sense to you?   

I happen to think this isn't as good as the 2015 team, yet here we are.   Nobody bats 1000, but it's wild this team is here when we obviously have the worst Manager and FO in league history.  Explain it to me.

Managers make decisions that people will disagree with all the time, but there's always a baseball logic. I can live with that even if I disagree. This had no baseball logic, every angle you look at this decision says don't do it.

His explanation was flat out stupid and pointless. All the numbers said don't bring him in. Anybody that has been watching Little knows this disaster has been coming. Anybody with eyeballs and brain cells can see that Little doesn't know where the hell his pitches are going anymore and hasn't for a long time. He's looked like a deer in the headlights for weeks. We have won in spite of him.

With a multi-run buffer it's one thing, but with a one-run buffer with your season potentially put on the brink? This wasn't a warm Sunday in July, it was game 5 of the ALCS where you can't make egregiously stupid decisions because you might not be able to come back from it.

This is unlike any decision he's ever made in how egregiously wrong it was at the most inopportune time to make an egregiously stupid decision. This wasn't even close to being justifiable, I can't believe some people are even trying to justify it.

It was self-sabotage and we all saw it coming from a mile away. The stakes were too high and if there was ever a single fireable decision, we just saw it unless his team saves his ass.

So what happens if they actually landed Ohtani for $700-800M two years ago? Likely would have also signed another big player or arm whether it was Burnes or Fried, along with resigning Guerrero to his $500M extension. No different than the Dodgers. 

Blue Jays payroll will never be as high as the Dodgers, but it's Top 5 currently. Add in an Ohtani or Soto, along with another big FA, the Jays are right close to the top, neck and neck.
