I think Schneider will put Davis at 2nd and Straw in right with Lukes and Barger coming out of the lineup. Clement to 3rd.

Straw in left Springer in right Clement at short IKF at 3rd.

It's funny.  When the Straw trade happened and we didn't get Sasaki, I was really angry.  Like what a waste of money.  I'm sure if management was honest, they didn't think Straw would be a big contributor.  Not only was it not a waste of money, his contract was good value this year.  We may see straw start a playoff game today.  Sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Me either.  Santander had a hit and should have had a walk yesterday.  The only positive is that if we win today making fun of Yankee fans on twitter that they couldn't beat a team with IKF in the lineup should be fun.

At the very least I'd have put Springer in right to allow Santander to DH...

IKF is 4-8 lifetime against Fried. Maybe that was the rationale. Otherwise it's not what I would have done. IKF should never be starting a playoff game. Defensive sub? Fine. Beyond that, no.

Lineup is all contact + defense Vs Fried, makes sense. I thought they’d keep Santander in, but he still gives us a weapon off the bench later in the game.

Glad to see Davis in there. Honestly kinda would like Lukes in there but im not sure what his splits are vs LH.

I just knew that IKF would be receiving far too many starts as soon as he was added to the roster by the front office. I don't know if it's worse to have IKF start a game or be utilized late in a close game in a pinch hitting role.

They've protected Lukes against lefties this season.  I think less than 50 ab's.

This particular lineup at least gets a very strong defense out there for Yesavage
