I predict the Guardians and Padres stay alive today.

I think the Yankees and Reds are done.

Stop the presses.  You are saying the Yankees are done?  The team that can score at will?!?

Mods, we may have a hacked account. Send it up the chain.

Big overturned call there, preventing the Tigers from taking the lead and continuing the rally. I think I agree he was out but it's close enough to where you can be mad with either result depending on who you're rooting for.

I thought they might beat Crochet at home, but I failed to factor in the manager is a bit of a dumbass.

Complete mid off between these two offenses.

When we were competing with the Tigers for the best record I said at the time I don't really understand how the Tigers are so good. They have the best pitcher, but on the whole I found the team mostly uninspiring.

Not that I find Cleveland a whole lot to write home about, but to me the Tigers never belonged in the conversation with every other contender in the American League.

They were having a bunch of hitters overperform in the first half, and ultimately they all regressed to the mean in the second half. Tork, Gleyber Torres, Baez, Greene, McKinstry, etc. had significantly worse second halves. First half looked like a world beating team, second half looked like Cleveland pretty much.

Tigers were probably thrilled to avoid the 1 vs 2 wildcard playoff series. Probably looking forward to revenge against the Guardians.

This would be a kick to the nuts squared by the Guardians this season if the Guardians win the series.

I think the Windians take this tomorrow but get absolutely skull f***ed by Seattle.

I don’t think I’d be upset if the Sox won tonight.

Not because I think they are easier. Yanks are probably better but Crochet going twice in a 5 game series evens it up quite a bit.

But I just flat out hate the Yankees and watching them get swept by the Sox is simply too much fun to pass up.

I have to admit I did find myself rooting for the Red Sox for the same reason. I wasn't intending to, but I naturally reacted to the game as somebody rooting for the Red Sox

I hate the Red Sox, but I just f***ing loathe the Yankees.

Pitch count by Cade is a problem considering he threw 19 yesterday.

He may be unavailable tomorrow. I know it's the playoffs, but that'll be pushing it

As much as they probably should/want to save the arm, I think with their season on the line it'll be all hands on deck and he'll be available. I think a < 2 run game in the 8th inning and beyond and Cade is definitely pitching.

I remember when the Dodgers basically killed Brandon Morrow by making him pitch every game of the World Series.

Can’t wait until Cease and Dismiss is Blue Jay next year. Padres bullpen is disgustingly though and they have anxiety from yesterday.

They handled Cease as they should have, and how they should have handled Pivetta yesterday.

Jays Yankees and Mariners are the first tier teams with Red Sox maybe tier 1B

The others remaining are definitely anotger rank below

Most people think the same way of the Blue Jays. We seem to be an afterthought and whoever wins the Yanks/Sox series will automatically be moving on to the the ALCS against Seattle
