Braydon Fisher is 7-0 now. That reminds me of when I was a kid and Paul Quantrill had 11 wins. I had gotten his autograph a few years earlier and thought he was the best pitcher ever.

Bo can walk really. Runs saved are just as important as RVIs and way more important at SS

It's also the highest whiff rate by any Blue Jays starter ever (min 60 pitches). That will play in the bullpen in the playoffs.

Yeah I'd prefer that as well. We can all see that Bo's best days in the field appear to be behind him but I believe he's just reaching his offensive peak.

I thought that the best spot for Yesavage would be out of the pen but after this start he looks like he could be a dynamite rotation option at this point and into the playoffs as well.

He's absolutely got the stuff to do either 

Curious how they end up using him

Hope he pitches well enough to force his way onto the post season roster 

And then I'm curious which starters are left off for the ALDS

He played more SS than 2B in NY and his first year in Cleveland after they traded Lindor

But the Guardians decided to give most SS time to Amed Rosario in 2023

So.... I think the Guardians are just dumn.  That's your answer.

At what point do jays look at giving Bassit and Berrios a game or two coming out of bull pen? So its not completely foreign come playoff time.

At this point neither is probably starting a game in ALDS. Than ALCS and WS if we make it there its 4 starters max.

No matter how anyone performs i dont see a world where Gausman Bieber and Scherzer aren't our starters

Just watched it on Jays in 30.  That was a brutal call.  He absolutely deserved the immaculate inning there.  Laz Diaz owes him an apology!

I’ve been saying for a while we need to let Bo walk. His contract could easily be a disaster and he could turn into Tim Anderson at any point. We have our everyday SS in Gimenez going forward. Use the Bo money elsewhere.

Or...SP like Woodruff, Bieber etc. Wouldn't need as long of a term obviously but can probably get SP plus something else for the money Bo was gonna be asking for (probably not getting..but asking)

Was going to comment last night that Gimenez looks like he will Toronto's everyday shortstop next season. Defensively he looks amazing and he's under club control still. Kind of makes sense why Atkins went after him last offseason, given his ability to handle shortstop. A middle infield of Gimenez and Clement defensively is mint. 

I love Bo and his bat don't get me wrong. But I think the Jays know internally the chances of resigning him were slim and long term defensively, Bo is a liability.

Like others have said, use that money on an outfielder like Tucker or a top arm like Woodruff, Cease or Bieber.

Bo is going to be returning from a knee injury of an unknown severity. He's done everything you could ask for with the bat but he was in the midst of an awful defensive season due to limited mobility in the field. He could be forced to change positions for next season and with him coming off of yet another leg issue I suspect he might be forced to take a short term deal to prove he's healthy.
