John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Well thats not something you see everyday.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 AAAAaaaaaaahhh... that hesitation f***ed him up.
keggy Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Barger needs to be signaling slide also Pinkfloid 1
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 You guys have played ball right? That happens. Not Springer's fault. Spanky__99 1
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 The uncrustables duo have f***ed up the game up so far today. Hope we can bail them out later

That was pathetic baserunning The tag up was fine, not only did he slow down to look up for some unknown reason but he didn't slide. Our base running has been s***. Omar 1
Waylanderz Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 The only positive in that inning is that maybe we don't see Skubal in the 7th.
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 It seems like the Jays don't want to win tonight lol... Vladdy making mistake earlier and now this...
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 That fly ball was way too shallow to tag up on. Why wasn't Springer not down the line? Horrible base running there

How did you watch that play and think it wasn't Springer's fault for a horrible read. Once the CF was 15 feet away from 2B, tagging up means NOTHING. Then he slows down and doesnt even slide...

Naw, just s*** luck really, he had to go back to tag...but the next guy up should have been screaming or signaling to slide... not sure if it would have made a difference but, maybe? Omar 1
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 All he had to do was slide. Not sure where the cross up was

infinitebook Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 A ball landed in the outfield with the bases loaded and we didn't score lol. I still can't believe what happened
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Hindsight 20/20. 3rd base coach should've been in his ear telling him to hold where he was when the ball was hit. If it drops, Springer hustles home (and slides) and if it's caught you live to fight another day.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Sh*t happens man, the hesitation on the way in was puzzling. Go Jays baby! Pinkfloid 1
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Even if he was out had he slid, it might have been overturned for interference since the catcher didn't really give much of a lane. Just a couple brain cramps. Pinkfloid 1

infinitebook Verified Member Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 It's funny the catcher kinda messed up too going for the tag, he coulda played that like a first basemen Jays24 1

The only genuine mistake was jogging home for some reason Spanky__99 1

The fact he was tagging Springer instead of just touching homeplate. Ah well... let's gets at it again.
