That fly ball was way too shallow to tag up on. Why wasn't Springer not down the line?

How did you watch that play and think it wasn't Springer's fault for a horrible read.  Once the CF was 15 feet away from 2B, tagging up means NOTHING.  Then he slows down and doesnt even slide...

Naw, just s*** luck really, he had to go back to tag...but the next guy up should have been screaming or signaling to slide... not sure if it would have made a difference but, maybe?

The ball was 15 feet away from 2B, you think he was gonna tag on that play? Come on man.  Horrible read and horrible execution in terms of hustle.

Hindsight 20/20. 3rd base coach should've been in his ear telling him to hold where he was when the ball was hit.  If it drops, Springer hustles home (and slides) and if it's caught you live to fight another day.

We should have been talking about exactly that instead of Springer screwing up.  The fact he was tagging Springer instead of just touching homeplate.
