Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I bet the Cardinals thought they were going to win when they jumped out to a 2-0 lead lmao Spanky__99, Stangstag and Orgfiller 3
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I'm getting horny just thinking of the lineup when healthy Bo - Vlad - Barger - Kirk - Springer - Varsho - Santandar - Clement - Gimenez

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I bet Cardinals fans can't wait for the Blue Jays to leave town. Kind of like when we play the Rays. Spanky__99 and Terminator 2

When healthy, he's like a perfect 5 hitter. Plus the contract. He won't bat that low.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Nifty little play from Schneider there, shades of our other platinum glove 2B. Spanky__99 and Terminator 2
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Lauer getting the job done again. I was hoping he could go five, but I'll take it. Jaysman, Spanky__99, Terminator and 1 other 4

glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 With Lauer eating up 4.1 innings, I think saving Turnbull for Saturday makes more sense. Francis stinks and isn't likely to go long in that game so they'll need a mop up guy.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Common Fisher dominance. Has to be available for a second inning.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Let Fisher go another inning please, Turnbull scares me.

I did feel like it may be smoke and mirrors but by the same token I absolutely thought he earned a spot in the rotation because he did. That has nothing to do with Yarbrough. We needed the depth. As an aside, I don't think anybody was surprised that Francis came back down to earth. I think most of us felt he was operating above his skill level.
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Heineman looks very confident

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I think they give Francis one more start. If he shits the bed they move Lauer into the rotation (or my preference move YRod into the starting rotation). If Francis does well they take it start to start. Maybe Mad Max comes back in July? glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Yeah I have a bad feeling about this. Hope I'm wrong.
