Yep, pound-for-pound they have been the most difficult franchise the Blue Jays have ever dealt with. It doesn't matter if they're doing well or even if they've been struggling, they see a Jays Jersey and they go off.

The rays must drool when they have see Jays games on the schedule Look at Brandon Lowe, he's Mendoza against the rest of the league and Barry Bonds against the Jays. Stangstag 1

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 After the momentum of that Padres series and how well they played across the board. It’s just so disappointing that they go to a minor league park and play like a minor league team vs a major league team. its win a couple lose a couple every week with this group. But atleast they are hanging in I guess. Stangstag 1

They’ll win 3 in a row to then drop 5 in a row and then you write them off and they’ll reel off a other 5 wins out of 6 only for you to think they are good again before dropping another 4 in a row. Reality is the team is a .500 team and it’s probably going to be like this the rest of the way especially if they don’t improve the starting rotation, Stangstag 1
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 The silver lining for me, the game it over at 10:30pm instead of 4:30 am. Sorry, that's all I got. That was truly painful to watch. Rays played great, Jays were worse than a no show. Good luck in Texas. They have lost 7 in a row. Maybe the Jays can get them back on track? lol Could the Jays play worse than today, without trying to play worse?
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 The baseball experts predicted Jays a sub .500 team. Just want Shapiro and his shadow Atkins gone sooner than later
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 A .500 team will give you hope and look like trash in the same week sometimes. Unfortunately that might be what the Jays are in 2025. xposbrad, BatFlip and Stangstag 3
mphenhef Verified Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Sigh, this team is so frustrating to watch. 2 runs in 3 games in a little league stadium is embarrassing.

Every single team in the majors is playing with the same data, however how that data is put together and analyzed and then implemented is what varies from team to team.
