Tampa Bay Rays will always be Daddy for the Blue Jays. Clearly it wasn’t just the Trop.

Yep, pound-for-pound they have been the most difficult franchise the Blue Jays have ever dealt with. It doesn't matter if they're doing well or even if they've been struggling, they see a Jays Jersey and they go off.

It's so strange. The jays had 2 good series coming into Tampa and then they collectively forgot how to play the game on the flight to Florida.

Is it really that strange? Isn't this always how it is with Tampa?

Look at Brandon Lowe, he's Mendoza against the rest of the league and Barry Bonds against the Jays.

But why... year after year. It's been several different Jays teams but none of them can play the Rays.

After the momentum of that Padres series and how well they played across the board. It’s just so disappointing that they go to a minor league park and play like a minor league team vs a major league team.

its win a couple lose a couple every week with this group. But atleast they are hanging in I guess.

It's not just this group. It's been the case for most of the last decade

Feels it’s been this way the entire season. They’ll win 3 in a row to then drop 5 in a row and then you write them off and they’ll reel off a other 5 wins out of 6 only for you to think they are good again before dropping another 4 in a row.

Reality is the team is a .500 team and it’s probably going to be like this the rest of the way especially if they don’t improve the starting rotation,

The silver lining for me, the game it over at 10:30pm instead of 4:30 am.

Sorry, that's all I got. That was truly painful to watch. Rays played great, Jays were worse than a no show.

Good luck in Texas. They have lost 7 in a row. Maybe the Jays can get them back on track? lol

Could the Jays play worse than today, without trying to play worse?

Better analytics and advanced scouting in the Rays system I would guess.

3 steps forward, 3 steps back with this team so far

Smarter.

Every single team in the majors is playing with the same data, however how that data is put together and analyzed and then implemented is what varies from team to team.

You have a problem

Haha only wagered $50. Figured they wouldn't get swept and with Bassitt on the mound.

People spend more on Blue Jays tickets + concessions when they go to a game lol.
