He's the new Cimber

Minus the gross L/R splits that Cimber had.

Sandlin is gonna walk his share, but he's tough to square up. 0 Barrels given up this year so far.

Aside from the unusual release angle Cimber and Sandlin don't share a lot of similarities. Sandlin is more of a strikeout pitcher whereas Cimber was largely a pitch to contact guy who relied in inducing soft contact.

Feeling pretty good about the upcoming Mariners series

We will face Castillo and Gilbert on 2 of the days but they need to come up with a plan for the other game

They also don't have any off days as they play Cincy today and tomorrow and then the Jays in TO on Friday. So we will have a fresh pen and they won't.

Mariners reshuffled some things so it's going to be Woo, Gilbert and Castillo this weekend.

Offense needs to be on their A-game.

Luis Castillo or Luis F. Castillo?  LOL

It's pretty nuts the Mariners have 2 guys named Luis Castillo in their rotation...

how many "glove first" guys do you have in the lineup?

Clement

Gimenez

Kirk

Varsho

I don't think you can have 4......

My wish list for this season is

1. Barger develops and he cements himself as the everyday 3B

2. Varsho (who's still young) takes the next offensively and can become a 30 HR per 162 bat. he was brilliant in ST. Can't wait to see him back in the line up!

We do need to find a RH utility bat somewhere in a trade. Someone who can play Corner OF and 3B would be ideal.

The washed up veteran Castillo.

Mariners batters are sporting a .210/.312/.369 line. The wRC is ok, but that can't be a fun team to watch year after year.

The Braves are easy to beat

Remember we had a bunch of dingleberries flip flopping like fish thinking we were about to be swept, hahaha... Birds!

So you're saying the Mariners are due to break out offensively any day now?

Great. If the Mariners get hot with the sticks we all get to blame Grant.

So far so good!

Bet the under for these games. Both lineups aren't putting up huge numbers and these are going to be low scoring games.

Got the O/U last night at 8.5 in the 5th inning.

You were saying?

The story of this game is the Jays inability to execute at the plate in my opinion. The Mariners looked awful at the plate for the most part, until we put in gas can Barnes.
